Bad spacing = whiff poke as the other guy does homing over/around it, Kamui eats 60+% damage B&B into Arcana-projectile trap.
Or GC to air super, opponent 4D HCs through it, punish into 60+% damage B&B.

There’s lots of simple ways to deal with Kamui’s more abusable stuff, you just have to be on your toes all the time. Which is the case with this game in general- you have to be constantly paying attention, ready to GC/HC your way out of stupid stuff. It’s a really intense game, it’s like A2-esque in terms of how much guard cancelling you need to be ready to do on the fly.

No, I don’t mean what projectiles you gain. I’m talking about attributes. Like wind gives you pushblock, triple jump and double airdash. Stuff like that.

I’m encoding vids while we speak guys, I guess we should have them up by the end of the week. Don’t get all crazy/too hype, as noone in these vids has spent any significant amount of time with the game (that entered the tourney) except for myself, and I’m not even really that good yet, i don’t guard cancel into her air dp or air super yet.

The 5 or 6 kamui’s that just wanted to be wack little fobs that didnt enter the tourney (because I eat their food on the regular) were really lame, how you conna sit there and play that xcopy game hardcore, yet not put any effort into learning the actual game just beacuse you want some easy wins?

the pushblock in this game is for WIND ARCANA only? geez, i kept trying to do it in a vampire/alpha3ish pushblock style and this shit kept pissing me off.

rules for homing cancel out of a blockstring in the opposite direction? im talking abotu if someone attacks you forward and you try to homing cancel backward, or upbackward what state does this put you in? it just pushes you back and unless you do a attack string, it puts you back in place immediately, right? (if you don’t press anything or mess up the input, if you just do homing cancel backwards, you can be vulnerable, right?) can you homing cancel up/back off a blocked string? (meaning, if youre on the ground, can you homing cancel to the 7 position on the joystick?)

i’m not sure to the answers to these questions which is why im asking, im not mad good as some ppl in here would want you to believe :frowning: I can’t do any of those long, long combos that japanese seem to do to make you pay for shit.

FRX is sounding mad enticing just to go and play some Arcana Hearts and scout out that tx comp (depends on whos going.) If I don’t hustle by tonight though, I probably cant go, but damn I wanna play more ppl in AH.

I’m still hardcore dedicated to this game, just Bills + 4 hour a drive + two jobs arent letting me go to CTF as much as I would like.

Not to mention tolls are a fucking BITCH. $31 in tolls just to get there, and its an extra fucking hour just to avoid like, 3 of them.

That and parking in CT is also retardedly expensive. I spent around $120 on my first trip up there to play in gas, parking and tolls combined.
