Hi toodles.
I live in U.K and want to get one of your cthulu boards how do i go about ordering direct from you.i know how to send a payment, but how do i list what i want when making payment.its usually done automatically when i order from retailers.

As long as you select ā€˜goodsā€™ when sending the paypal, the second page will have a place to enter a note to go with the paypal. If you enter in what youā€™d like to get there, Then the paypal I receive will have the total, the address to ship to, and the list of what you want; everything I need to box it up and send it to you.

so I plan on wiring a multiconsole cthulu board in my stick with a Official 360 PCB.

Do I have to add a switch between the two of them? How would I wire that in?

Iā€™d like to know if it is possible for you to soder a multiple cthulhu so that it might include: pc/xbox 360/ps2/ps3 respectively? I have a modded x-aracade solo and would like to play lag free online. I donā€™t wish to sodder and perhaps you have done requests such as i have made? Money is no issue and i would love to do business with you. Also, is it possible for dreamcast to be done yet or difficult? Thanks

I appreciate the thought, but Iā€™m in the last few weeks of the semester and barely have time to sleep as it is. There are plenty of tech who can do that sort of mod though. Check the trading outlet and see if you get any offers.

Im guessing im here in the right place for a ps3 pcbā€¦ besides that the whole idea not having to solder makes me happy! Id like to order but I live in europe (Holland to be exact) no european shops/people that are selling it? Or is ordering from America the only option? and neone expierence ordering from america and ne taxes involved?

No, there are no EU sellers. I canā€™t speak for Netherlands, but I havenā€™t had any problem with costumes taxes in Portugal, and there have been no reports of such thing happening yet. :wink:

i see, if not for those, iā€™d like to know if i purchase a ps3 only pre-sodered board w/usb, i can just replace my current PCB and plug it in the ps3 and it work? Sorry to sound so new to this but i want to be able to use my x-arcade directly with the ps3. Thanks.

Sorry in advance for this noob post.

Anyways, I wanted to do a dual mod using the following diagram: http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=4838&pictureid=5480

Just a few questions:

  1. I already bought an Assembled Cthulhu PCB, and I donā€™t know how (or even want to try) to desolder the USB jack already attached on the board (I was given an xbox360 after I had already ordered the assembled cthulhu). Can I just hook up a USB cable to that jack and cut the cable open and then connect the D-/D+ to the DPDT switch and just merge the other wires into one USB cable?
  2. Once I buy a common ground wired 360 pcb, can I also cut the USB cable stemming from it and also merge it into one USB cable? (I just want to have 1 wire coming out of the box)

Any comments would help. Furthermore, just let me know if there is a better way to do this as oppose to my seemingly bone-headed idea. Again I apologize if my post sounds crazy, itā€™s my first attempt at building a stick.

Another method is to use Toodles Imp board along with your Cthulhu and 360 PCB. Think of Imp as an electronic version of the Toggle switch in that diagram from Cheapassgamers. Hereā€™s an example of how to connect Cthulhu + IMP + a 360 PCB (Madcatz TE). This solution will have 1 USB cable coming out of the box and you donā€™t need to drill a hole for the mechanical toggle switch, you can use the Home/Guide button as a switch. Much cleaner, though a bit more complicated.

Yeah, I took a really long look at doing that method for days. Iā€™m still up in the air about which way to go with it. With that said, is there anything wrong (schematically) with my said construction plan? Any downsides?

Lastly, I know it might be kind of weird, but for some reason Iā€™d actually rather have a switch on the case itself. It might not be as aesthetically pleasing, but I guess it doesnā€™t bother me much.
