No I do not…

Sorry for not knowing, but does any of this really matter? Like I was saying before, it worked for me for many years on my PC without any of these things and now that I upgraded my PC, it’s not working. Does this PCB have any drivers or anything like that? The FAQ mentioned something about configuring it in my control panel in the game controller settings, but there’s nothing in my control panel that lets me configure game controllers…

  1. Yes. It’s called troubleshooting.
  2. No.

It seems lately some motherboards do not like cthulhus, kitties, etc. and it has to do with impedence on the usb lines. So, to eliminate your hardware, you can try a different cable or adding a repeater. Have you tried all ports on your PC? Does the cthulhu still work on the ps3 or other PCs?

On Windows 7 and up look under “Devices and Printers” ether on your control panel or start menu, click on the game pad icon with the name of your controller
and all versions of windows hit WIN + R and type “joy.cpl” and hit enter to open the program

He’s saying it’s unrecognized so it won’t show up anywhere

Has anyone ordered from http://godlikecontrols.com/ lately? I just want to verify toodles is still active selling his shiz before I make an order.

I’m guessing this is still the latest?

Is Toodles sick or something?

If the site is up, he is accepting orders

@studtrooper Aside from what @Vicko said, I placed an order about a month ago, and had it in my hands in about a week.

Just to follow up on this with data, when I plug in the MCC-modded stick with a dumb USB->Xbox “connector changer,” SC2 refuses to recognize it as a controller and will pause the game until I plug in a different controller. So it’s not recognizing it at all.

However, if I connect an RJ-45 Playstation 2 cable and connect that to a PS2->Xbox converter, the game will recognize that and play just fine; I used this converter, among others.

Anyway, on to new concerns:

So I have two tri-modded sticks with MCCs. When connecting an RJ-45 Saturn cable and playing on Saturn, one of the sticks works fine. The other one is not recognized at all by several programs (including the Saturn dashboard), and when I can occasionally get it to be recognized in some games, pushing Up does Up+Z, Down does Down+Y, Left does Left+X, and Right does Right+Rtrigger. The X/Y/Z buttons don’t work at all.

I tried swapping the cables and got the same result, so it’s not the cables. Furthermore, I’ve used the MCC functions on this stick without problems on DC, SNES, OG Xbox, PS1, PS3, and PC.

Where should I start my troubleshooting?

hi, i have a question. does the mc ctulhu have a program so it works on ps4 without the pad?

thanks in advance

No.

The MC Cthulhu only works with PS4 games that has the Lab Zero drivers to allows for PS3 controllers and that is only IN-GAME.
The PCB can’t control the PS4 system menus.

So the cthulu works with ps4? What about the chimp?

No it doesn’t. Nether the Cthulhu, MC Cthulhu or the Chimp works on the PS4. They all use the same USB drivers and protocols.

The Toodles boards only works with select PS4 games that has the Lab Zero USB driver. That’s currently Skull Girls, Mortal Kombat X, Injustice and Street Fighter IV.
It does not work outside the game, does not work on the consoles home or system menus, they only work with in those games I mentioned.
You still need an actual PS4 controller to boot up, start the game and sign in.

Did you update both sticks with the latest firmware ? It’s the 1st thing I would do

I tried that and it kind of helped…? If I unplug and re-plug the stick (with the console on), and mess with the inputs for a while, eventually it seems to get cleaned up and work. But as soon as I turn the console off, it’s back to square one.

Here is a crazy idea, attach a wire from a GND terminal on the board to a bolt somewhere on the control panel. Like the Joystick mount.
Ether bend the wire into a loop or use a crimp on spade connector. See if that changes anything.

There a theory it’s static build up.

So I have a problem.

My stick is originally a Madcatz Super Street Fighter 4 TE S stick that was dual modded into a hitbox format with a ChImp board in it. The problem is that my PC can recognize it but when playing Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code, the right directional button doesn’t register along with the punch and kick buttons. When I plug it into my Xbox 360, it wont recognize it because the guide button won’t turn on but the board LEDs is on.

Is there anyway to fix it?

Edit: I found out that it was in PS3/PC mode according to the welcome guide by Toodles but now the A button is not working

Has anybody had a chance to test if a MC Cthulhu is supported in SFV’s legacy controller settings? I have the PC version so I wasn’t able to.

I have the same problem. Anybody else have any luck?

Just checked the MC Cthulhu and ChImp boards, both work fine.
