Edit: I have sorted myself out. I had my system select mapped to start, which also enables the axis isolation.
Will rewire tonight.

Iāve got ChImp betas boxed and going out to:
Bomberman
Akuma001
ShinJN
ZombieCPT
EJM
Ecksnine
Kaytrim
I hope all goes well with those.
Iām closing up shop for a few weeks until I get moved. All of the retailers have orders en route and should be fully stocked.
Any idea how soon/which retailers are going to be fully stocked? I canāt seem to find an imp anywhere and only one place has a Cthulhu. Maybe Iām not looking at the right retailers?
They will be up on GamingNow on Wednesday.
if im installing the cthulhu board for pc/ps3 only in my xbox 360 TE do i still need the IMP board? or is that for multi console only?
also i know there is a write up on the forums, but does the board itself come with instructions as well?
im sorry if this has been asked already, i tried searching but couldnāt find a definite answer.
Check the Imp thread.

In short, its not 100% required, but in my opinion it is the best way to go.
IMP board is optional. I would highly recommend it unless you want to wait for the ChImp to be officially release.
thanks for the responses!
For those of you getting a Chimp, hereās the pinout of the āunlabelledā holes (although they are somewhat labelled now). I figured I had better put this up since the PC will be packed up here shortly. In case it isnāt obvious, the 3K INVERT and 4K INVERT are the opposite voltage from the input on the 4K and 3K line; so you can wire your stick common ground, and connect these to the triggers on pads that normally require the triggers to be inverted. Thatās the plan at any rate.
A - VCC
B - Select/Back
C - Up
D - Left
E - Start
F - 4K
G - Xbox D-
H - 3K INVERT
I - 2K
J - 3P
K - 1P
1 - GND
2 - (Do not use for anything! Its an additional signal line that could be used for something if needed. If you have any bright ideas, feel free to mention them, but dont use it with the beta code; if it touches ground, the board will reboot; if it gets shorted to ground, it will never turn on until the short is fixed)
3 - DOWN
4 - RIGHT
5 - 4P
6 - Xbox D+
7 - 4K INVERT
8 - 3K
9 - 1K
10 - 2P
11 - HOME
As always, let me know if you have any questions/problems.
will you be able to make a upgraded version of the imp board that does auto detect also? Or will the chimp board be the only way weāll have the auto detect?
Now Iām wondering if Iād even be able to do an auto detect for my dual wireless mod
I figured out a bit more about the play and charge cable. Were you ever still interested in any info about it?
I canāt wait for the ChImp to be release.
ā¦this weds?
got that chimp, thanks toodles.
gonna dual it and stick it in something this weekend.
iāll get some impressions up once itās put together and working.
oh happy day!
Yes, they are up on the site now. :chat:
Soldered up the ChImp and windows recognizes the board. Woot. Iāll try to dual mod it this weekend.
r they allowed to show pics?
can we see what they look like? pleeeeease
Im in the middle of a move at the moment so I cant put any pics up but others are free to. Imagine a black cthulhu, a little skinnier, with a spot for a 4066n chip where the grid normally is, and a few more of the unlabelled holes than normal.
what exactly is the ChImp?
The most cleaver naming scheme for all the boards toodleās makes.
Cthulhu + Imp = ChImp
will have system auto-detection.
I wonder how many people will want their sticks modded again? What will we do with all the original cthulhus?
