You’re right, I remember Galatea talking about it in the previous chapter. I was merely commenting on how it just seemed a bit out of Miria’s character to recklessly go it alone without a little support or a back-up plan.

I actually thought for a second all the injured claymores were going to save her because she didn’t kill them. Quite the opposite, last page is very brutal when all you need is to just lop their head off. Man it was 5 of them swinging down on a bunch of gore. I think aside from Gantz, that last page was one of the more powerful conveyed manga images I’ve seen. Like smashing the wet, gore smeared ground where Miria used to be.
Uma was the one I didn’t want to see die but her day is coming too…
I guess you don’t fuck with number 10’s. 
God damn…WTF? Maria was one of my favs and she’s gone…just like that. Don’t say claymore doesn’t kill important characters.
