The Official Call Of Duty Thread: CoD WW2 BETA coming Soon

Pre-Ordering now

^GOTY!

edit- ok so finally watching many vids, it seems like all the new movements are done for the purpose of defensive primarily vs offensive momentum. So far that sounds good BUT it’s still early. Sound like a more fluid AW yet more restrictive Titanfall…if that makes sense.

edit 2 - I am a big sucker for customization. damn I may spend a lot of time just messing with guns. Expect many dicks and tits added to gun camos now.

Two hits? Idk man…

The main thing I liked about AW is the fact they had different guns that felt “advanced” with out being to out their. And they did some decent balance patching to make more of the guns viable. Just wish the secondary and special weapons weren’t so lame.

I don’t love exo movement, but playing the classic mode is frustrating and sucks.

I don’t know. I think they’re leaving more than just campers in the dust. Some of us are getting old. I’ve barely scratched the surface of AW, though. I do like it, and it’s leagues better than Ghosts.

It’s the voice man, it’s just that voice. I even watched his retrospective on Game Graphics because why not?

What made cod stale was that every version after mw2 kept nerfing the fun blow shit up stuff like 2x nades plus grenade launcher plus stickies while doing nothing about gay quickscope faggotry. Some people just want to fire off 30 missiles a match stop hatin on a thug

All I need is Nuketown.

All the other guys can easily even without the smooth voice can do what he does but just tend to wing it and come off too casual and annoying. Yes Ahoy had a great voice but that was one of many things he did right to separate himself. Guy really should be a narrator for TV.

Calling it now, These maps will come back I bet: Raid, Rush, Grind, Studio (maybe they’ll redo it yet again as another map?)

Maps I want to see come back for BO3: Kowloon, Hotel, WMD (BO1 maps) Battery, Outskirts, Castle, Downfall (WaW maps)

WaW had some ill maps

Going into detail about what we know on a few thing:
*
New gameplay details are pouring out that paint a better picture of the type of Call of Duty game Treyarch studios is making with Black Ops 3, revealed to audiences just two days ago.

As a major disclaimer, Treyarch Design Director David Vonderhaar stresses that, being this early in production, most, if not all of the information that has been gathered thus far is not final. “We are pre-pre Alpha,” he said on Twitter, “so nothing is final and all of this is subject to change as we dial it all in and lock it all down.”

With that out of the way, let’s take a look at some of the latest details.

According to those who’ve had hands-on time with the game, Black Ops 3’s Create-A-Class once again adopts the Pick-10 system that gained much popularity in Black Ops 2. It returns in more-or-less the same fashion, but with a few alterations.

As before, players will be able to use Wildcards to stock up on Perks — six in total, if they so desire — or make extra room to equip up to four grenades — two lethal and two tactical. The option to equip two primary weapons is also still there with Wildcards like Overkill.

What differs in Black Ops 3 is the way attachments are organized. For starters, weapon optics are now counted in their own separate slot. Furthermore, utilizing Wildcards, secondary weapons can equip up to two attachments in addition to an optic, while primary weapons can equip up to five attachments in addition to an optic.

Weapons Variants you create through the Gunsmith feature, including your attachments, camo patterns, and paint jobs, can be named and loaded into Pick-10 as its own unique weapon that can’t be altered in your loadout. Advanced Warfare’s Supply Drops won’t appear in Black Ops 3.

Unlike Advanced Warfare, Scorestreaks will remain in their own menu separate from the Pick-10 options.

According to previewers, Black Ops 3’s perk and attachment list is still under development, but YouTuber Drift0r talked about a new attachment called High Caliber that increases your weapon’s headshot damage. According to TmarTn, Perks like Dead Silence and Awareness will also return in the Perk 3 slot, though that is subject to change. Vonderhaar also confirmed that Flak Jacket will be in the game as it appeared in Black ops 2.

Melee attacks have seen a pretty major overhaul and “panic knifing,” as the Call of Duty community knows it, will no longer play a role in combat. Instead, upon pressing the melee button or key, your soldier will attack with the butt of his or her weapon, dealing damage but not outright killing the opponent. At least two are required for a kill, though the attacks do have a slight knock-back and stun effect. That said, players can still deliberately pull out their knife as a secondary weapon to score a one-hit kill.

According to Drift0r, C4 has also been reworked to be more powerful, but can only be detonated once the charge has landed on a surface. It can no longer be detonated mid-throw.

Drift0r also describes a new Aim Down Sights mechanic with long-range scopes that makes aiming with sniper rifles or other long-range weapons feel noticeably easier. Sensitivity has allegedly been scaled more appropriately to make zooming in more useful. To counter, powerful Sniper Rifles will be balanced accordingly, though it’s not exactly clear how.

UPDATE: Here’s Vonderhaar with some clarification on this subject:

YouTuber chaosxsilencer was able to confirm that gibbing and gore are a part of Black Ops 3 multiplayer in addition to co-op campaign and likely Zombies. He also described new Scorestreaks like the Hover RC Car (HC-XD) that can climb vertical surfaces, the “Flaming Wrecking Ball,” the Stealth Wraith (Stealth Chopper), the GI Unit that can patrol or defend and area, and the Mothership (a three-man Chopper Gunner). Like the attachments and perks, these are also subject to change.*

I like panic knifing doe

Ok this update so far is promissing. Removing panic knife is a gdlk change, cant wait to run into kids thatjistface smash their controler the moment they run into some one. The nerf/buff to c4 is meh i love spaming c4 in blops2 it was so op having to wait for it to land now is for sure needed since it made grenades 100% useless. Increasing the range and power is interesting to say the least. Will probably still be used over grenades. (Being crafty with c4 is the best.)

Exo zombies is pretty cool

slow for news but yeah new DLC weapon without the need for the season pass.

BO was shit and is SHIT.
Ghost was also crap
AW is a lil better.
If i can get BO3 for the same price i got AW Atlas pro then maybe I’ll get it.

I’m diggin this new map for Exo Zombies. Its pretty big. Need to learn it a bit more though.

Playing Exo zombies with folks who don’t know what they are doing…

i dont like the new zombie map much because everyone runs off to do their own thing. I still play outbreak, mostly cause i cant get past lvl 26 cause i always end up on teams with noobs who use the ars in late rounds like wtf s-12 and cel-3 all day

I got to level 26 on the new map. It was just me and another guy. It was a good session, would have been better with a couple other folks. I actually had a great session with some dude who was actually trying to get a solid game plan down. It was pretty good but something stupid happened and it just fucked us up. i think a boss came.

I didn’t really play the first map too much, I always felt like I didn’t get the right guns from the mystery box. I have only touched multiplayer twice which really sucks for my skill right now. May mess with it a bit more.

MW2 High rise is back. Can’t wait for Next-gen rooftop glitching.
