You know it is bad when the majority of people were hoping COD would go back to an older war setting and Activision is all like nah brah you get more dumbed down Titanfall shit minus the titans or movement or big maps or anything that actually made Titanfall kinda fun.
These are the same people who bitched that CoD needs “new things”. These are also the same people that couldn’t adapt to AW.
More then anything COD needs a new engine, the one they are using since COD 4 is just so dated and still has a ton of issues they either refuse to acknowledge or refuse to work on.

It’s valid that people bitched relentlessly that COD was more of the same, but it was still pulling numbers. I myself just wanted them to fix hit detection/lag compensation/whatever and stop putting obviously annoying things in the games. Now it seems a lot of people just wanted what I wanted, regardless of how they screamed out on the internet. These devs can’t win, it seems.
Didn’t you have a problem with how boring Driftor was or something? My knowledge of the COD commentator scene is so dry these days.

Same here, that is why I said they really need to update their engine. I still think they would have been better going off to a more simple approach and focusing on guns and less on retarded killstreaks. One of the things I liked about AW was the nerfed streaks, with the exception of a few. But they also make games for people who don’t play games, they want that casual crowd.
I didn’t like the nerfed streaks, though I sucked so bad at AW I couldn’t pull of a UAV most times. It feels like I’m fighting for not a lot. You could get shot from a million different places at any given second. I feel if you’re able to pull together a streak in that environment, you deserve a good reward. However, you have to put modules on most of the streaks for them to mean anything. Though modules are a cool idea, I didn’t like them feeling necessary.

Driftor is wrong alot and is part of the crowd that gets paid by Activision, so he just says whatever he is paid to say but he is far less annoying to listen to then alot of them. Tmartn makes me want to punch him in the face.
What’s so off about TMartn? Does he seem like more of a shill than the rest or something? I know he was super enthusiastic.
On BO3: Custom camos sound awesome. FINALLY they’re applying this customization stuff to the gun. I never got character customization. I get the idea of being an easily identifiable terror to your opponent’s eyes, but how many of COD’s fanbase are memorizing their enemies like that during the match? Plus, you don’t even see your own character during the match. You see hands. You see the gun. But you don’t see glasses and all this other shit.
It’s funny, because I know this customization stuff isn’t taking serious time away from development or anything. I bet all COD developers have one department working on gameplay and another working on stuff like outfits. Even knowing that, though, character customization seems like a waste. I’m happy they’re finally turning that stuff to the gun, which you see for 99.9% of the match.
The only good one was Xbox Ahoy (or Ahoy now) as he always has a professional just the fact approach. Others really should have learned from him. Even though he’s done with CoD, i still watch his vids

I’m not a dick. I have respect for people who try things differently. I acknowledge that Advanced Warfare is a relatively major step for the series.
Doesn’t each COD release further split the playerbase? I can’t imagine everyone jumping aboard the next entry. Does this question even have any relevance?
