I have come to decide that the spawn system will never be good due to players running around like fucking idiots. The system is having a heart attack trying to choose a spot because everyone in the game doesn’t understand strategic positioning and knowing when to advance or regroup…
…but then I remember such thinking is too complex for the average CoD player. I do thank however my former teammates at Activision for teaching me that. They would position themselves so well that teams would just quit and we would win so many domination games just on that.
I yelled at people for that all the time but the excuse I always got was “It was boring”. Then they would bitch when they lost and always point at their K/D not realizing they were fucking their team the entire time.
I’ve played a bit of AW MP for the first time on the weekend. I really enjoy it. I don’t if it’s because it’s something new or if it’s because I haven’t played in a year but I’ve had fun
It did, but it was really flexible as to when it flipped. There were very simple clear lines that if crossed the spawns would then flip. If you killed the entire team in the spawn zone it would cause it to flip. The spawns made sense and forced x team to control the map, it was not impossible to get out of most spawn traps granted some where particulary the smaller maps, but this is why i liked blops2 the overall game made sense. Whem shit happen 90% of the time i could go ugh the fucking shotgun guy ran into the spawn and caused it to flip. It was easy to asses the situation of the spawns just by looking at the mini map. After a while it bacame second nature. AW was fun with the jetpacks but the spawns were so fucked you could spawn 5 ft behind someone who just spanwed, have they since fixed this??
Nothing is confirmed as to the movement style. At most it’s speculated that they may keep dashing but no double jumping as that is what really killed map control.
Thats some fairly wishful thinking, i guess your not wrong tho. All we know is that the soldiers will be enhanced in some way in terms of power but not equipped with some form of jetpack.
Not sure i really want faster movement. I think the biggest issue that messes with spawns when a game moves this fast (AW) is that when you die you just mash x and instantly respawn. The pressure is infinit and makes it hard to keep up if your trying to hold an area.
When is the gameply reveal?? I hope they keep the game more on the colorful side like blops2 was. Granted that it wasnt all that colorful it was nice to play maps that were not brown and gray on top of brown and grey.
See thats why I love BO for that,but with BO2 I have to make some hard reads on spawn switching sometimes or I lose my momentum… I can thank my incompetent teammates for that lol
If they can TRULY change things up for the better, I’m all ears. Right now though, it still sounds like they brought exos back. I’ll wait until monday though.
Hopefully the verticallity isnt too extreme if they want competitive gameplay it wont be too harsh like AW. Please treyarch your the only good cod dev left!!!
I remember back when Treyarch was just considered the red-headed stepchild of the family against IW, which could do no wrong. Then came MW3 and Ghosts. Now Treyarch is head of the household and IW is the steaming mess the family dog left on the lawn. I’ve never seen such a drastic turn around.
