Sucks for you man, this game is awesome so far, better than BO2, which I loved.
I’m loving the MORS, but sniping in this game can be hard as hell if you aren’t fast though, I haven’t played an competitive FPS in months and i’ve lost some of my reaction speed.
Need to get 40 headshots to get iron sights, which makes sniping a lot easier for me, fuck scopes.
I feel its a bit random but thats with the start of any new COD. Im loving the movement in this game though, as far as maps go I’m actually hoping some are a bit bigger. I’m not sure if i played the entire map playlist yet but i feel like because you can get to point A from point B so quickly it sort of makes the maps smaller in that regard? idk maybe I’m nitpicking
You can camp with help, but the maps are too porous. I’ve found a few spots so far, but they are low traffic areas that get you burned ten seconds after killing someone. Moral of the story - don’t camp alone.
Other guns aren’t unlocked yet - especially with attachments.
SMGs are very underwhelming. No range, and even up close, the damage the ARs put out still trump them.
So far, I fucking SUCK. I knew it would be rough, BO was the last time I spent a fair amount of time playing a CoD (MW3 hardly got PT and I stopped at that one). I was never good at CoD, but the spawning is just STUPID in this game so far. What’s more annoying is the pace people are running around at makes spawns switch every ten seconds…at LEAST ten times yesterday I saw myself spawn in the kill cam. That is a MAJOR problem.
Damage is unpredictable…sometimes people go down from two bullets, othertimes you fill them up. Then there is seeing it on kill cam and them only getting hit once. But hey, I thought I turned of uTorrent, but when I looked at my computer later, I was still downloading and uploading pr0n - so maybe it will be better today (not likely).

I was having mad lag issues on ps4 last night too, i think its just the servers getting blownup. I had one part where i shot the shit out of a guy and noticed new double hitmarkers. I was like oh is that what happens when you nail a dude in the face? I lost said gun fight and when i watched the killcam to see if i hit him in the face and see if it looks like it did more dmg. I didnt even hit him once lol i was just standing there. I shook my head and laughed it off. I really so far have found my self not getting mad at this game for some reason. Maybe because its really fun to boost around so i might be like “awesome i get to respawn and foosh around like a gundam but not a slow ass clunky robot.”
What are you guys’ thoughts on the gun variants so far?
The ones i’ve gotten so far have been pretty meh except one.
The “Tiger Blood” S-12 has been kicking a consistent amount of ass for me.
I ordered the AW XB1 bundle. It shipped today, so I should have it soon. To be honest, I wanted that bundle for the 1TB hard drive. I have not played CoD since BO2. I liked BO2, but I just got burned out on CoD. From what I heard, it was the right choice to pass on Ghosts. I have not kept up with the series, so I’m actually excited to play AW.
Gun Ho is rubbish. If it didn’t so greatly destroy your accuracy it would be a must for shotgunning, but as it is I think it does more harm than good.

Any details on the effectiveness of shotguns in this game? Boosting around while blasting people with a shotgun sounds fun, but none of the streamers I’ve watched have used a shotgun. I’ve really only seen the BAL, AK, and KPF…whatever SMG it is.
Don’t use them, they suck.
Assault Rifles are the current king and the grip is really good.
So there’s some wonky PC issues going on, most notably that your mouse sensitivity will occasionally go apeshit for no apparent reason. Changing polling rates has had no discernible effect. Also some odd issues with the game locking up and stuttering that seem unrelated to PC performance. It’s not like they’re alone in this in terms of PC releases, but we’ll see how fast it gets fixed.
My ps4 game locks up after games and when i boot it up i bet that maybe a universal bug? In game ive only had crippling and life ending lag whee the game drops to about 2 fps i restarted the game and if was fine.

Yeah the shotguns leave a lot to be desired. Thought of course I saw Sandy Ravage beasting with that air shotgun one. I swear he makes any gun look good.
I was really into MW and MW2 and even BO, then i basically turned to fg’s… Eventhough i bough the last few COD titles, except for Ghosts, i hardly touched them. COD AW actually looks like it’s alot of fun and i can use a MP game which feels less taxing. How are people feeling about the verticality in this game, when i played Halo, eventhough it is much slower pace, it was extremely annoying to deal with closeup fights where people were jumping, really difficult to turn properly on a controller. Might even get it for PC.
