Something I noticed about games like, BO3 and now IW while “fun” and functional they’re “too random” with the added advanced movement. It’s not like the older games where your positioning would get you killed it’s like the guy MVC2 superjumping around throwing finger lasers killed you.
Yeah, that’s peoples’ beef with the advanced movement (those that dislike it at least). It makes things too random. That’s why Black Ops 3 was able to succeed by toning things down just a tad from AW.
Finally completed the Triple Play in BO3 (took quite a few days off). For my bribes, I got Brass Knuckles (which I couldn’t care less about) and the HLX4 submachine gun (which I didn’t know existed until I got it). I don’t really like the look of the HLX4, and its need to re-chamber when you stop firing is very annoying in gunfights. So, yet another bust from a weapon bribe contract. I’m wondering if this game can just detect the weapons I want the most and keep me from them.
It was still stupid in BO3. At least in these last two games you can do SOME kind of map control but you can still get randomed out.
Ever since they added this more faster movement system, Sniping is moot as targets move too fast to do traditional Sniping. You would think this would make quickscoping harder…It doesn’t.
Didn’t even know Infinity Ward did this in there big update for Infinite Warfare . . .
TMartn put out a video talking about the same shit. I’m not linking to it, because it said the same stuff as the video above. Also, because of that CSGO Lotto thing where he scammed a bunch of kids. But just… wow. When it comes to COD, there is no dick too large for TMartn to wrap his mouth around. Even HE hates this. He’s one of those Youtubers getting invited to all the events and shit they have too. It’s sad to see COD in this state. I don’t know if Activision just isn’t getting good numbers from COD this year, or they just got greedy. This shit has to stop though.
COD is in that dying Rock Band phase right now.
Glad I’m back to playing Black Ops 3. It’s a way better game than Infinite Warfare.
What’s the Rock Band phase, and is the prognosis on COD coming out of it good?
People overreacted and did the same thing last year for BO3.
IW just recently did a patch that buffed the SMGS and other junk. People are just WAY too focused on MUH LEADERBOARDS.
Correct me if I’m wrong here but, for like 3 to 4 years Rock Band & Guitar Heroes’ sales was very low. Far from what it was when they both came out.
But supposedly they’re now on a resurgent.
It’s not about just the leaderboards. It’s the fact that all this stuff is coming out for supply drops, but leaderboards are still in the air. It’s not a 100% reasonable complaint, as the dev team that works on Supply Drops probably doesn’t even look at the leaderboard stuff. Still - if I’m putting myself in the shoes of people who actually play this game a lot - it must be disheartening to see that basic stuff like your combat record isn’t fixed after 2 months while the BS designed to wring dollars out of you is getting bigger and fixed so quick your head spins.

I’m late on this, but it seems they’re putting Scorestreak variants in the game, like Advanced Warfare had. But they’re accessible only through Supply Drops and (maybe) Salvage.
This is a rumor that may not be true. If it is though? Ugh. Where is the honest-to-god bottom here? I keep meaning to jump back into IW one day, but stuff like this keeps pushing me away.

I’m already there. But I haven’t touched IW since December. Every time I think “maybe I’ll give it a shot this weekend”, some fuckery like this hits the news waves. Even though I’m “meh” on the game, watching Activision cannibalize the FUCK out of it is sad to see.
Still only play MWR and now on Gears 4. IW keeps making it’s own Ls. A shame but hey there’s still BO3.
