Ive only played Hardcore (yes, in MW2) once. Well, I played a few games but just that one evening. I was invited to a game by a friend. I ran that shit 3 matches in a row. I used the shield like normal and just rtsd. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, was just laying there waiting for me to smash them.
Needless to say I got called a lot of names and told how I suck and all that nonsense. I got kicked out of the game and the guy that invited me removed me from his friends list.
Edit - Them motherfuckers would see me coming from quit far away and start shooting at me. Of course im no novice to using a shield so I would crouch and angle my shield so they could not hit me. Those dumb ass motherfuckers would just continue to lay there and shoot at me or throw a grenade at me or some shit that just didnt faze me. I would just crouch walk to them, all slow like, and bash them. If they were smart players they would have just hit me with a shotgun (shotgun is great against shields) or ran away when they saw me heading towards them. The last game one guy sort of wised up. He was still stupid and gave away his position by shooting at me, but he would start to run away if I got too close. Of course he let me get too close and when he would turn to flee I shot him in the back with my magnums.
Edit Again - I did learn that throwing knives are not very great when playing hardcore. You can do a shield bash and basically cancel it into a knife throw that is perfectly aimed for a kill. But it leaves you wide open and if the person is shooting at you when you do so you most likely will die, even more so when it only takes one shot to kill you. Stun nades are still a good thing. Stun someone so they cant move fast and cant see much and get behind them for the final bash (or the single bash in hardcore). You can angle the shield so you can throw the stun nade out and still be pretty well protected. You cant do that with a knife though. When you throw a knife your shield basically goes out far left, leaving you completely vulnerable.
I stay not getting squat in the black market. I have some cool heads for specialists I never use, which makes me want to use them.
But Nomad is my dude. His pre-match dialogue is always like, “I’ma stay hidden in the bushes. Send these guys running in my general direction.” And sometimes the other specialists are dicks, but fuck them. Enjoy dying a dozen times :mad:

I got Seraph and Ruin gold, half way there for Spectre, Firebreak, and Battery.
Outrider’s passive ability is actually super hard because you have let the vision pulse tag people, and that ability telegraphs you super hard.
Looks like the HG-40 and ICR are my go to guns for the foreseeable future.
Currently running Vesper with extended mags, fast mags, and laser sight. Yep, I’m having fun by hip firing with the Vesper. 
Double xp weekend again if ya’ll forgot. Counts for zombies too. Score per zombies game solo 200k in xp!
Still DLC guns elude me.
Play on Hardcore. It’s the most busted ability there because Vision Pulse no longer gets telegraphed unless UAV is up and you can kill off of prefiring and wallbangs easily.
You’ll get that shit done in one sitting.

That mode is a re-do of some bonus mode from Ghosts. I didn’t play Ghosts though. Was that mode good, for those who did play?
