The only thing that bothers me is that I HAD an emotional investment, that they killed in as bitch-made and cowardly way Bolton’s Bastard murdered Rickon Stark.
I don’t feel bad that I was excited. I think its kind of a weird unfortunate situation that all these dev guys put in hella work and then, as a consumer, we have to make this decision on not buying the game based on some top level guy.
Think I’ve said this before but it still bothers me. Thousands of man hours by a group of people who were probably super excited, dealt with shitty crunch time and all that because they’re gonna deliver a kick ass gaming experience they’re proud to put together vs one really shitty executive.

Problem is all the relevant facts are out. Wtf is a PR firm going to do about the game being on the Epic store? I don’t particularly care to boycott things for political reasons. Like the head writer for Borderlands 2 bieng some type of fuccboi is a massive shrug to me. But this is the head of the company in an antagonistic role towards the fanbase.
What would the PR firm tell you to buy the game still? If you’re a console player, no biggie. But if you’re on PC though, that’ll be a different situation altogether.

Saying it’s kinda hard to Spin a Dumpster Fire is an understatement.
PC players everywhere is already swearing off Borderlands 3, and Randy Pitchford is just pouring gas on that fire.
It like Pertho said, for Console players the issue is invisible, they don’t see it.
For PC players, you just rub salt in the would, and getting someone PR guy is going to do what?
I find it refreshing to see a CEO talk without a filter. Pitchford making an ass of himself is always great.

Here’s the way I see it:
Yes Pitchford is absolutely fucking mental. But I’m not gonna let one person’s tirades keep me from enjoying this game. I double dipped for PC, but I didn’t opt for the edition that came with the season pass. I ended up getting the $80 edition.
He is but fuuuuuck, buying the game in inevitably rewarding bad behavior.
That’s the part that sucks. Supporting the hardwork of the Gearbox staff is ultimately supporting Pitchford.

What I hope Gearbox does is they end up doing another Community Day like they did with BL2 and the dumpster fire that was Aliens: Colonial Marines.
Edit: if that happens, I’ll probably end up organizing a Meetup of some kind.
Had this been in Texas where LEOs in either Collin or Denton counties (where Gearbox’s studio is located) could be properly notified, this shit would have ended with the quickness.
I’ve already bought the game on both PS4 and PC, and am finding it increasingly hard to support Gearbox under Pitchford’s leadership. I’ve personally met him (Randy Pitchford) as well, and I’m finding this really hard to believe. You don’t go around putting hands on folks unless you have a really good reason.

Randy pretty much told us all what a cock sucking scumbags piece of shit he was back when he stole Sega’s money to fund his in-house projects. His recent behavior is just him solidifying what we already knew…he’s a thief and a liar.
I stopped buying Gearbox stuff way back when he stole Sega’s money. It fucking sucks because they have a history of doing great work and the Borderlands series can be really fun, but I can’t support that bird turd. I just cant.
