There’s normal purple weapons, and there’s E-Tech purple weapons … in a sense, they’re sort of in-between purple (Rare) and Orange (Legendary).
Brick was the fucking man. I can’t wait to meet him in this game, though I’ll miss playing as him and his explody fists. Not like it mattered, anyway. My Lilith friend usually carried everyone anyway because Lilith.

The annoying part is that Phaselocking them has their shield cover their entire body ayway, so you can’t pop their heads with a sniper rifle at a distance. So you’ll have to run under them and spend time turning around and all that unless you have a friend already behind him. Grenades open them up temporarily, and I have corrosive nades too, so that eats through them regardless.
I didn’t have much trouble with Pyros. Up close, you can take advantage of their blindspots where the fire will go through walls but not hit you, then when they stop, unload a shotgun into their fat bodies. Then again, my shotgun at the time was really strong up close.
Suicide Psychos are still annoying as hell. They’re good at sneaking up on you in closed areas and sometimes I’ll whiff a Phaselock and end up with 50 health left.

Exploding weapons destroy shielded nomads.
I thought those guys (Goliaths) were going all RE4 on me the first time I saw them. I like the little horror fanfare that plays when their tiny heads pop out.
I’ll try using my RPG next time I’m downed on the shieldeds. I think I’ve died more times to not being able to kill a shielded nomad when I’m downed than anything else in this game.
Rakk have to be the best/worst enemies in the game. They can either save your ass by distracting other enemies or they’ll come in and fuck with only you.
I’m a bit surprised to see how many people don’t use Zero for Sniping. I’ve got most of my skill points in the Sniping tree. Maxed out the Critical damage and I’m working on the accuracy one. I want most of that Skill Tree. The only things I need from the other ones are Fast Hands, Ambush, Iron Hand and Grim.
I’ve also found that Dahl & Hyperion Snipers are dook tier.

EDIT: That mission where you have to give medicine to the people suffering from the shiver and help them build a shield for the town is worth running around everywhere. :lol:
Man, I love melee Zero. Dunno what everybody’s hating about. 10k crits at level 24 do not go amiss.
I have a level 13 Siren and level 8 Assassin. So far every shotgun I get my hands on is one of those 3/5 round capacity, 3/5 rounds fired per shot, with an eight million second reload time. Even that guy in Sanctuary gave me one of those shotguns:(
What are your guys thoughts on shields. What do you consider better? High capacity/ slow recharge or Low capacity/ fast recharge? or the ones that give you the best of both, but cut your max health(I think this was the kind I used in BL1). My Siren is carrying two shields at the moment. One is Purple that is 85 shield, 100 recharge rate, 1 second delay. The other is Green with 165 shield, 39 recharge rate, 3 second delay with fire spike damage when broken. I keep switching between them. The Green one lets me take more damage. The Purple one recharges so fast, but is broken easier.
Liking the Commando. Just got rockets on my turrets, it rains so much death. Also makes those shielded nomads cake, either he dies to me or my turret. Plus I don’t think his shield blocks many rockets anyway.
For shields I have the one that has a high capacity (600+) for reduced max health, and then my talents reduce shield charge time and refresh time, making me very tankish
For shields, I love the Caustic spiked ones. Makes it so I don’t even have to look at lesser enemies when I’m surrounded. They hit me one and they’re dead.
If you are killing the weaker enemies first then you are doing it wrong.

I LOVE me some high-capacity shields. It makes me worry less about losing health.
I just started a new game. When you have more than one character, press Y(on Xbox) at the main menu and you can pick the character you want to continue with.

I picked it up during a mission in which I’m overleveled. Not sure if it’s better than the purple I got.
For you PC people I find mapping the melee to mouse 3 works alot better then hitting V.

Does EXP not carry over to your next level?
I had just a sliver of EXP on my bar before I would level up, I could have farted on a Skag and I would have leveled up. I killed a Turf Thresher, leveled up and didn’t have a bit of blue in my bar. Maybe thats why it seems to take so long to level up
So i just got 3 packets of those BL2 top trump cards… ebay here i come!!!
How do I unlock the last slot for my weapons? I can only currently equip three.
