Crit Melee is the best thing ever. So awesome. May invest in his Sniper tree JUST to boost his crit damage.
A good way to maximize him (if you’re NOT Sniping) is to find skills that combine and stack and compliment each other. What gets the big damage is having 2 different buffs to attacking from behind AND using the Decepti0n’s damage buff AND smacking them in the dome for a crit AND getting healed for it

Did you get it from that mission where you have to find that robot core a new body? Dude, I had that thing in my inventory for 4 minutes before I decided that I couldn’t take it anymore. That thing would seriously not shut the fuck up for 10 seconds. Every time I switch guns, or shoot, or reload, or open a door, or pick up something, or even just stand there, he’d say something.
Needless to say I put that shit in storage.
That’s why I like it. It’s powerful and says things like “DIE DIE DIE” in a monotone robotic voice XD

If I remember correctly, purple represents a super duper rare gun regardless of the brand/make. If Eridean technology has a purple name, it’s just by coincidence.
I do but I keep reading ClapTrap’s safe can be used between characters.

-Orange
-Purple
-Blue/Green

As far as I know, there are no rares above orange in this game. At least not yet.
Unlike the other colors, there are two different “purples;” one is dark purple and the other is neon purple. I really don’t know the difference, except everytime I’ve seen the neon people up to this point, it has been referencing “eridium” bullet weapons.
Come to think of it, is there a difference between Eridean and Slag weapons? I kind of got the impression that Slag weapons were the new Eridean tech.
I think Zero is gonna be a savage toward end game or with “high end weapons” out side of that his vanish skill is pretty sick.
I honestly have no idea. I’m really not that far into the game. I make most of this shit up as I go
