That would be cool, but it would have to have something to distinguish it from Brick since that is basically what his berserk form equates to. Make a dude a Were-Land shark lol, who came to the planet to hunt Thresher. Let that nigga dig in the ground and Dolphin uppercut they asses. Give him a bad ass bit attack that restores a shit load of health too.
Self aware robot as in a claptrap like someone mention would be funny as fuck. Bring back INAC. Make him more a ninja than than Zero, with just a bunch of silly CCQ techs and the ability to throw money at people like Goemon lol.
I was thinking a character that specialized in grenades and stationary explosives in the way that other classes focus on guns. Maybe give them a tripwire that can alternatively be used as a weapon. Hell make it a chick and say she is Tiny Tina’s estranged mother. Make her get more nades and maybe the ability to use two types of them at the same time and maybe do a secondary focus on pistols.
I was thinking I also wanted to see more status effects and elements. Like a freeze elemental that is highly effective against other elemental types like fire and electricity. Maybe weapons that have just a chance to cause stun or steal health or cause enemies to attack each others. And add this to some of the mods. Mods need to have even more random shit to make them different, like a rare mod that makes you have makes a shadow version of you appear when you are low on health that basically mimics you like a Displacer Beast, but who’s attacks actually do damage and attract enemy attention for a short while. Same with relics, make one that I don’t know, makes your melee do elemental damage with a slightly extended range and some kind of plume effect? Definitely need more orange mods and relics too while we are at it. Maybe on that lets you allocate 5 points towards whatever skill you want while giving you some other buffs would be bad ass.
Also they need to bring back the real gore, shit is so tame. Just add a patch that can only be available in some areas so places that have an issue with it don’t cry.
I like the new game’s setting, but if there’s one thing I miss from the old game that isn’t playing as Brick, it’s the brutal, lawless, grindhouse Western feel of decimating a bandit’s head, or watching him melt away from acid as he reaches towards something to hold on to, or even the aforementioned dismemberment. It’s what made the game truly “Badass.” Which happens to some degree in BL2, but it’s far less common and much tamer.
Any links to perfect Gunzerk trees? Mainly for all playtypes, I’m currently undecided with where I want to take him. He’s 23 atm and I have a lvl 50 Sniper so I have a certain ritual of respecing at 50 to dip into trees (which i’m sure everyone has)

I just bought the game tonight for ps3 and after playing 2-3 hrs it froze during a fight. Does the game need to be patched or do I need to exchange my copy?
Picked this game up the other day for pc. Any advice on how to not die a dozen times early on? Just got to Sanctuary, and now that I’ve put some points into my guy, he’s a lot less shitty (using the big guns guy, forgot his name), but still an issue. Using a sniper rifle I got off The british dude from the start, and a pistol that shoots exploding bullets.
ah, that must be Salvador/Gunzerker, apparently (“big guns guy”). Sal kinda sucks early on, imo… at least now that I look back. He’s clearly more dependent on weapons and gear. Early on, sniping is the safe route for any character, imo.
Then again, it’s like that for any game where your character levels up, really. Well, Gaige seems to be awesome from the moment she gets her action skill though, because Deathtrap is just that ridiculous. Speaking of that… his shield-recharge ability seems like a waste. From what I’ve seen, it isn’t quick, and he occasionally helps out enemies accidentally. Heh, I need to get back to playing Gaige again… she was only level 22 last time I played her.
I’d be even more addicted to this game if it was out on the “correct” portable… sheeeit, if it hit PSVita, I’d get that shit TODAY.
I agree. Up until around level 30-something with salvador, none of my skill points really felt like they did a whole lot. Once you get to the point where they actually do something, the rest is just gravy.

Phalanx Shield seems to scale horribly in TVHM. My friend uses it and it gets broken in about three seconds under normal conditions. Does this stay true to 50?
Considering dropping it because of the heal enemy shields bug. The repair rate on your own shields also seems to make much less of an impact at higher levels, and time spent repairing shields is time spent not killing enemies with DT. I just want to see how it works in a team setting before I completely drop it and just max out Fancy Math instead.
heh, now that was a proper final boss fight… I just made it to the end with a level 30 Zero, who went to level 31 after killing Warrior. There were times when I wasn’t sure Zero was going to make it out of that battle alive, and it took quite awhile; my best sniper rifle only does 1230 or so per shot (not counting the bonuses from Sniping skill-tree). This was much more thrilling than when I did the final battles with a very over-powered Salvador.
There’s so much I want to do in this game…not really enough time in life to do it though. I want to level-up Gaige (currently 22) and perhaps the Siren next… Maya is my least-played character; she’s only level 2. Ohhhh it’s going to be so ON over the Thanksgiving holiday, as long as certain family doesn’t come by to visit… I’d rather it just be me, good food and some quality gaming time, nothing else.
Depends what you’re fighting against. It’s brilliant as panic cover just to give your shield time to recharge and with double up you’ve got two bubbles to do it with.
Funniest thing happened to day. Dropped Deathtrap to have him kill Jack. After doing so, he proceeds to start annoying the infintiely spawning rakks, right through the ending cinematic. Now seeing as I’ve specced BFF and have upshot robot, Deathtrap is currently filling the Vault of the Warrior up with dead rakk. And by currently, I mean this is going on right now as we speak.
