played a good amount of dlc today (mostly for the exp) got a bunch of red text weapons and idk what they do!
gotta say, the music on the DLC is really good, better than most of the nonDLC imo

the only shotgun i cared about in Blands1 was the maliwan crux
only shotgun i care about in blands2 is hyperion conference call
Some of the ones I have got a nice spread even when out, once it starts getting accurate it just narrows down into a small tube of death. Some are pretty shitty though, but I enjoy elemental Hyperion shotguns with a nice fire rate and clip size.
At least in regards to Shotguns, other ones can suck a dick.
I use it to help keep in mind where the closest enemies are. It’s probably less needed in the late game but in the early game i found it very useful.
So no new level cap has running around fighting pirates feeling pretty fucking pointless. Money well spent I tell you.
Also I love how I can kill Terramorphous in 30 seconds but can’t even put a dent into the Hyperius bastard with his gay ass full screen emp wave…
The entire point of DLC1 to me seems like seraph weapons, endgame wise.

Yeah, I’m not sure I’ll be buying this DLC without a new level cap. Sounds like just a bunch of farming.
My favorite enemy from BL1 came back, so I was fine with the DLC. Entertaining and gave me something new to do as I leveled. Plus Pirate Heads!

So first Gamestop wanted my copy of Brolands 2 for $30, then as soon as that expired said it was only worth $25 but since I am a PRO member, it’s worth $40.
They really must not be getting trade-ins for this title. Who would have thought an interesting game with depth and DLC that actually extends the game would be kept by people? It’s so shocking…

although i’m severely underleveled for hyperius, i don’t see how that boss fight is feasible at all lolol
new maya head is too much. the hair is fine, the skullpatch on her head is fine, the eye patch is a bit too much, the random strings on her face are too much

Leviathan is a weird fight
I kind of want to play through the DLC with Salvador JUST to get his head haha.
GGs AYo and Funbags, I got on later and got my Siren up to 50. Now it is just time to farm with her and finish side quests.
I kept stepping into pools of acid just so Merc could constantly talk about how annoying Gaige’s scream is.
Also Levianthan was a pussy. And Akimbo with his Macho Man impersonation where he could not talk for about 10 min after.
leviathan didn’t make sense to me at all. why have a crawmerax-type fight where your movement is restricted to a small platform and there’s MAD sandworms goin ham and getting in the way. (i don’t have a high level bee shield)
and then there are weird ledges you can go down on the side of the platform where NONE of leviathan’s attacks can hit you and you can just shoot at his “hard to hit” weak spot, the easy weak spot on his torso, then conference call the ones on his sides

I knew you were trolling me, her screams annoy the hell out of me because they actually sound like she is in pain. Was pretty fun, I should be on later. Helps take the edge off moving. Macho Man impersonation was amazing.
Are people having issues with the Leviathan fight? AF, Jae, and I took it down twice without issue and we weren’t even using the “Fabled Bee” that everyone seems to need for boss fights. I’m thinking these people never played an NES or SNES game in their life where bosses had patterns you needed to look for and avoid.
Honestly I had more issues with the Perv bot than Leviathan.
When I helped phantasy with Leviathan yesterday (and by that I mean act as a temporary low-level meat shield and help solve the problem), Levi was stuck. He was just sitting there not doing anything while occasionally opening his mouth like he was going to spit out his proboscis then quickly closing it. Eventually we un-stuck him somehow by shooting at him. Grats on getting that Bee finally.
The fight itself is odd not because of having to follow patterns like an old game, but because the stage is laid out awkwardly.
Gaige’s DoT scream is enough to make me avoid getting set on fire, etc. at all costs, but it happens anyway and I have to listen to the whole sad affair. Good job on the voice acting?

borderlands 2 difficulty in general is easy in groups. apparently the new invincible bosses are somewhat hard though. master gee is really dumb, and hyperius looks much more standard but he has that electric wave that i suppose is suppose to make the bee less effective
