The Official Borderlands 2 Thread: Wub wub

I have yet to find one Orange weapon. :expressionless:

Now that I have The Bee I need to go get a leveled up version of my Infinity pistol, this is gonna be hilarious.

This is why you use the grenades that literally suck all of the enemies on-screen, into their blast radius.

They are aces for grouping together a rocket launcher money shot.

And crowd control.

Works wonders with the Phaselock. I can get all the enemies in one tight spot, then Phaselock the one in the middle, which spreads corrosive, fire, electric, and slag damage across all of them. At that point I can pretty much use whatever gun I want to finish them off.

subsequence sucks (the phaselock timer doesnā€™t get reset so usually itā€™ll phaselock another target and disappear immediately)
thoughtlock basically is terrible

gonna try out scorn

I respecā€™ed Zero since I got the Bee and this Minecraft Shotgun. Watching as Bore Shots fly thru two enemies and then bounce off shit two hit two more is hilarious. I got a smg from Bonehead 2.0 instead of a Rifle that basicaly let me kill Saturn in a single clip. Should probably beat the game and work on my second play through so I can get that leveled up Infinity pistol nowā€¦

Yeah if I find one better than I am using now, using a homing grenade at the moment that works well for beating down a single target. Other grenade I have is a bouncing Corrosive 'nade that has a large splash radius.

Holy crap Hyperion weapons are ass-tier.

Almost all of them at leastā€¦

That feeling when all the neat ā€œuniqueā€ and ā€œcoolā€ weapons you stored away in Rolandā€™s safe are ass now =/

New bazookaā€¦ (drool)

A rat stole $15k from me and a raging Goliath killed him before I could get to him. I didnā€™t get my money back.

I made up that money by running through the area (Fridge) and killing the crystalisks/picking up and selling everything, but it was still a deflating feeling.

What brand do you guys prefer for shotguns? I canā€™t decide on one. Jakobs have to reload every shot but are powerful, Torgue are slow but can gib easily, Hyperion can be wildly inaccurate on the initial shots and have to reload once they do become accurate, Bandit are whatever. Iā€™m still using Moxxiā€™s shotgun at Lv.28. A friend got a nice corrosive from the slots and I felt the pang of jealousy.

Jakobs and Tourge.

In TVHM thereā€™s these enemies called ā€œScavengersā€ that steal loot dropped by enemies -_-

I actually like Hyperion Shotties since the aiming thing isnā€™t an issue usually, has a nice rapid fire, and clip sizes are usually respctable.

Do you keep any weapons/items from the first play through after you beat the game?

And Tediore shotties are only nice for the simple fact that reloading doesnā€™t count as an attack when you are using Deception.

I fucking LOVE Dahl snipers.

Such great balance.

That voice is so damn funny

Jakobs or Hyperion definitely. Usually prefer Hyperion for their accuracy, but I recently got a purple Jakobs and itā€™s incredible. The gun has like, golden markings encrusted in it and a huge scope, and even though it only shoots twice per reload, it reloads in about 1 second and fires as fast as I can pull the trigger.

Oh yeah, and itā€™s insanely strong. Cause you know, thatā€™s what Jakobs is good for.

I am STILL pissed off that southpaw does not let me have my gun in my left hand.

Iā€™m really starting to like Tediore shotguns. Mostly for the fast reload, plus I find it easy to hit things with the thrown weapon at close range. I also like shotguns that deal bonus melee damage. Iā€™m a Siren, so most things that get close are in trouble anyway now that I have Blight Phoenix.

These are the two that Iā€™m using right now on my second play through:

This oneā€™s in my backpack.

Whatā€™d be really nice is to find a shotgun with a really big magazine.

So, I feel stuck at level 40. Iā€™m too low to progress through the story (all the enemies are 3+ levels above me so they have skulls), but grinding experience in other areas is too slow. I am ignoring side quests because I am waiting until they scale to level 50 to complete, but its biting me in the ass. I think I may have to break down and just do some.

I did farm the Warrior for a bit last night for 20% experience (about 2400 per kill), takes only 2-3 minutes for a full kill/loot grab using the bee which is nice. Even got some good class mod/relic upgrades to use.
