I kinda like Tediore guns. The ability to toss them like grenades instead of reloading is amusing to me (and the fact that you don’t have to reload is handy in firefights). Their rocket launchers are especially good. I’ve never seen a Tediore-brand sniper rifle…do they exist? I wonder if there are any unbranded guns.
I encountered the arena yesterday…fun stuff. I only finished the first round, but not before encountering a bug where enemies wouldn’t spawn, so I had to restart. I definitely need to try it again with buddies.
I had got it for Maya… Yep. That and my One-Eye Spy head (hair in bun and eye patch). Looks so legit.
I’m almost 25. I’d be higher but… Working and going to college full time prevents me from doing so. Though, I did take the slacker route yesterday and skipped a class to go home and play.
Started playthrough 2 last night … “True Valut Hunter Mode.” Enemies are way more challenging … I was overleveled in PT1 and had gotten into the habit of going all rambo on them. Doesn’t work so well vs hordes of Lvl 33 Marauders.
Farm Lynchwood. Exit the spawn area, head left and go up the tunnel. Got a few nice purples up there. The only orange I ever got was from slots, tho, and I was overleveled so it didn’t last me long.
I did about the same at level 21 with certain specs, once hitting the 20’s he really comes into his own, and I’m starting to appreciate his Kill activated abilities more now. Still, I think in a team setting my Gunzerker or Commando will come more into play because…well, everyone is using Maya and Zero and their health is rather iffy at times.
Argh… No classes or work today so I thought it would be a great day to play Borderlands 2. But none of my friends are online so I decide to make my settings “online public”. I thought it would be cool to play with randoms and you would think after playing fighting games online that you shouldn’t play with randoms. But I didn’t care.
At the wildlife preservation, where there’s a secret loot chest on a cliff next to a giant mushroom on the highway. I open the loot chest and see a purple Maliwan corrosive smg that does 90 something damage, and had a good fire rate. But my inventory is full. So here I am trying to decide what to drop and for some godly unknown reason I drop my other beautiful purple Maliwan slag smg that does 100 damage and has a good magazine size. This nigga pops outta no where in my game, makes it from wherever the last checkpoint/save/New-u station and he takes both smgs. FUCK ME!!! I get on my mic and start yelling at him. This faggot leaves!!! Argh… Never again will I be on "online public. Fuck that shit. I’m so mad right now.
I was just about to comment on the WELCOME TO DIE reference. Really wasn’t expecting that here, since it’s not a well-known phrase in the mainstream.
Concerning Moxxi’s SMGs, I’m only lv20 right now. Is it worth it to get one of the purples (I have a fairly standard blue Dahl smg with no elemental effects right now)? Or is it fine to get one now and get the Legendary later on?
