Oh yeah, my FC is: 2405-8613-6925 and my Aim S/N is Gen2K DS. It doesn’t matter to me which IM someone has since I use Trillian.
would this be a good game to pickup for a fighting game for ds? am thinking of picking up a dsl and this game from liksang because i can’t think of any other fighters than this.
Anyone still play this? I got this back in March but I haven’t been on SRK for a while. Just PM me or post here your FC so I can add you.

Anyone that still plays this, go on Irc channel #bleach_ds on rizon.net for matchups.
Anyone got good Kenpachi strats? I haven’t been able to play online, so I can’t XCOPY good stuff I’ve seen. Is it all about teleport tricks, or using super A to create high-damage chain combos, or…?
A lot of Kenpachi’s online don’t know what their doing so it’s not worth XCOPYING every one you see. I ran into this stuff myself and it seems to be good since the few Kenpachi’s I fought does the similiar things except their much better since appartently that’s all they play as. Spamming teleport gets you kill but the funny thing is that is what most people expect from Kenpachi since alot of bad players do that so when you don’t do that it throws them off opponent alittle bit from experience.
I only use Kenpachi to fight Aizen, Yachiru and sometimes some Byakuya’s or players who have annoying card step-ups but I mainly do this:
-
take advantage of his hcf+atk special (dashing slash), it has super armor/auto-guard so you can just bust through any string you want via guard canceling. The more advance players will take advantage of hitting you during the auto-guard and flashstep before you hit or even before you GC if they feel the move coming so you’ll have to be smarter about when to use this. The great thing about his hcf+atk special is that it leads into some of his more nastier B&Bs
-
B&Bs: All of the beastly combos comes from his dashing slash or throw to opposite corner. The lead-ins to hcf+atk I usually use is random ground chain ending with cr.H/st.H > dashing slash. If you use cr.H > dashing slash you can usually chain another dash slash in before the opponent hits the ground, afterwards cancel into Super A to cancel the lag and launch the opponent for repeated j.Ms air combos. Just experiment. From a throw to the opposite side of a screen you’ll have to measure and see which version of the dashing slash is better to use, sometimes the Hard version is better, sometimes the Weak version, etc. or you could just do teleport and work from there. Again just messed with combos into dashing slash and you’ll understand more.
Super A B&B combos usually does 90-100 easily which is retarded high for a lv.1 super and the opponent can’t Damage Cancel out of them since all hits after Kenpachi activates is considered “super hits” so if they don’t DC before then they are screwed.
If you don’t have meter for super then just do a normal double jumping air combo. Either way end it with j.H that sends the opponent to the opposite side of the screen, i.e. if you were on the left wall, during your air combo flashstep behind the opponent knock them to the side. This way you’ll have perfect time to use f,d,f+atk special (the one that makes his slashes have more range). You should at best be able to charge it 2 levels after every knockdown. Which gives you the option of using long range poking cr.W > whatever chains.

If the opponent is feeling pressure and seems to start turtling some just do random teleport > throw to shake them up even more. If you got paitence or just want to annoy someone, plane shift vs. an opponent thinks they can hit you from the opposite plane like Ishida, SoiFon, Aizen, etc. Whenever they do the moves they think they can safely hit you with just do teleport > throw. If vs. Soifon just remember to dodge her kamikaze ninja. Most likely they’ll catch on and stop, if you got enough paitence you may even force them to plane shift. No matter where they do it teleport > throw will get them unless they were expecting the throw and tried to mash, otherwise do teleport > random ground chain. This is a very lame thing to do though for a majority of the match, lol.

qcf+W can usually replace hcf+W as a guard cancel attack as it’s pretty quick and causes knockdown.
-
his j.H has huge hitbox spanning across the whole bottom part of his body, just as good as Ichigo’s j.M. So even if your back is turned away you can hit people who aren’t aware of the hitbox with it and combo from there.
-
Super B (his lv.3) is ok but only as a guard cancel attack because you can get the same amount of damage from buff Super A B&Bs combos and still have some meter left over. If you’re lazy you can use it by touch screen which makes it easier to take advantage of, seems like that’s what most people do to easily GC energy column supers like Ichigo’s or Rukia’s.
I’m no where near the best with him but this is what I do and experienced from others, it got me by whenever I felt the need to use him. Don’t know how active this thread is anymore maybe this help until the more experienced Kenpachi players come through.
Anyone still play this? I havent hit up online play due to the fact I have no connection where I am and no money to buy the USB connecter from Nintendo.
though I wouldn’t mind gettin some play in from you guys.
People still play it, just join #bleach_ds on rizon with mirc. Some of the better players hang out there and there is a better chance of you playing against someone with little (or no) lag.
Good to know. I lost my game so I was contemplating whether to pick it up again. Looks like I’m gonna do just that.
how many l.p infinites are in this game?
the only ones i’ve come across has been rukia, tatsuki, aizen, and yoruichi on komamura…
anyone still play? hows it feel on the new DS lite? worth to get it? thanx
i hope people here are still playing this game, my friend code is 395-212-392-159.
I hope to play some of you soon.
This look like a good alternative to Guilty Gear on the DS as the review scores for that haven’t been complimentary.
