has anybody done genryusai #10 and hinamori #9/10?

i think i have genryusai’s figured out, it’s just linking an IAD after the ex dp move is stupid hard (i did it once though)

BTW, I didn’t use IAD for any combos except Soifon’s #10. Always found a way around it. However, with Soifon, I had to learn to IAD on the DS D-Pad… so now I’m pretty good at it lol.

Hinamori #9:

put opponent in corner (I chose left corner)

stand next to opponent

throw EX explodyballs AWAY from corner

immediately jump and double jump and throw air EX explodyballs (if you threw them in same direction, ie away from opponent, you’ll fall into the corner behind opponent)

land, balls explode

Y-B, jump Y-B (explodyballs hit), air combo again into explodyballs a third time

Hinamori #10

put opponent in corner (I chose left corner)

stand next to opponent, jump straight up, air dash away at peak (sets up position)

press EX B button (moves you forward)

jump uf, do falling Y-X…

the rest you should be able to figure out (only the starter is tricky)

Everything is connected so far and I’m getting 3 bars on my Wifi meter, but haven’t been able to fight anyone yet. Meh…hope I could get to play with some peeps here in SRK sometime.

Well, go to the ranking battle or something, it’s easiest for me to get to play someone, even though there’s major lag.

Genryusai #10 is hilarious.

here is the “trick” (at least for me)

immediately DASH, Y-X -> HCF+Y -> f,HCF+Y (super pillar thing)

hold up (game starts to slow down cause there is mad crap)

wait till you see yourself in the air… wait a bit more…

low air dash Y-X

land, Y-X -> d,u+A

jump straight up, low air dash Y-X

land, Y-A, j.Y-X -> dd+A

Is this a good Ichigo combo?

I was fooling around with Ichigo:

IAD, M, H, land, L, M, H xx EX rush attack (41236H), L, H, 2H xx pillar super (241236L)

It only uses one super and one EX attack. 27 hits, does 84 damage.

Any god use/combos for Komamura´s Bankai? I think it´s better saving bars for damage cancel or his other two supers, any tips?

The game is fairly entertaining so far. We need a translated guide somewhere. Currently I?m loving Gin.

The card system is a bit of a toss up. It?s rather frustrating when you don?t know what everything does, and it?s forced for ranking.

The game needs air throws, guard damage, no plane-shift in 2p mode… and some other stuff. It’s a good first start. Hopefully they make a second one and iron out the flaws.

Air Throws: Agreed…this game needs them
Guard Damage: This isn’t a huge deal for me. MBR didn’t have it either and I never minded
** Plane-Shift: Pick the level to play on. Cause at least one level (bridge level, which is level 10) doesn’t have plane shift.**

Yeah, that’s the basic gist of Ichigo’s combos when he has meter. If you’re in the corner (it’s corner only IIRC) you can followup using the pillar super twice more, if you have the meter. Damage is scaled, but still really good damage. If you don’t have super meter/don’t feel like using it/want to build meter you can do:

IAD j.M, j.H L, M, H (into optional shunpo cancel rave) HCF+H (jump) [j.L]x3, j.M JC [j.L]x3, j.M DP+A

for really great damage that only uses 2 stocks of the spirit fitness gauge (bottom one).

He can loop his two arm attacks (simply Y and A) repeatedly until meter runs out. Does some great damage if you get the timing down (105+) and since they both cause the wall bounce state, if you time the ending well, you can juggle into air combo after the super ends when Komamura comes back onto the screen. yay for Komamura!

I agree with the airthrows statement, as it’s especially confusing to me when Yuu Yuu Hakusho for the Genesis, (the game that layed the groundworks for this one) about half of the characters had them. As for guard damage, do you mean chip damage or like guard meter/guard crush kinda thing, because there is chip damage. As lseeba said, there’s at least one stage that doesn’t have 2 planes, thankfully. As for changes that I would make, is tone down the hitstun on Light attacks, as most characters can do dashing L infinites. (they aren’t broken though considering the size of lifebars, how difficult they are to keep up, damage scaling, and damage cancels) Another thing I would change are the cost of damage cancels… I don’t like how they only cost 1 super meter. I bit too much IMO. (Using a full gauge of the bottom meter would’ve been better) Lastly… PUT URAHARA IN GOD DAMMIT!!! :arazz:

I thought I finally got all the cards from the shop, now there is about 20+ 200k cards :(. Still not sure if there is any unlockables for buying everything from the shop. Any news on the draw screen passwords?

Thanks for the combo. I didn’t know you could chain light air attacks until you posted that. I actually squeezed an extra j.L into the first set of j.L’s. It was a flashier combo but because of damage scaling didn’t do any more damage. Maybe if I could squeeze another j.L into the second set too I could increase the damage :lol:
