Really? I got with the shotgun hype and am using the DAO (buckshot) right now. I’ve never had that happen before though, I usually either bite the bullet or pull a lucky headshot on a wounded tango.
The one problem I’ve had is the obvious reloading management issues. Sometimes running in the container labyrinth on Noshahr Canals, there’s no time to reload. And although you can in-between shells being loaded, it’s usually not that responsive for me I guess. Not complaining but it’s the only thing I can mention that keeps this gun being a gem in my eyes.
I’m actually starting to contemplate waiting for all the DLC to be released, and then get this 'Premium’
edition, which I know will be re-released, on disc, later on, at an even more discounted price.
I actually like the knife mechanic and the idea behind it but half the time it doesn’t work. It’s obviously designed with more realistic thinking behind it because a soldier wouldn’t instinctively resort to their knife over their gun in a face to face gun fight and just lunge through bullets unharmed like in CoD. They would use their knife for silent kills behind the enemy to stay hidden and conserve ammo. That said, knifing multiple people is hard in a game because they’re dead but not silenced and more often than not they will tell people “I’ve just been knifed, turn around” I miss the days before console parties when game chat had game play functionality.
There are glitches but DICE seem to be fixing a lot of things (although they did add a couple in the last patch) none of them will ruin how awesome the game is though.
The main things I’d like to see them fix are the Med packs for assault not throwing half the time so you get killed just holding the pack in your hand like you’re just admiring it. The knife not knifing properly. Sometimes you will come out of the Mav and your body is still where it was but your camera view is 100 feet below the map so you have to suicide or get killed. Then the 1 game ruiner which is the M26 underslung which really needs fixing rather than just causing bans.
Yeah I will be skipping BF Elite just like COD Elite. Shit is a money grab and imo you are an idiot if you buy that shit and only contribute to the problem just like with COD Elite.
Looks like its been taken down. I just looked it up on google and watched it on another site though. It does look good. I saw the camo stuff before and thought “Who cares, all you can see of your self is your arms most of the time” but it looks like theyre stepping it up by making the weapons customisable too which makes a bit more of a difference. Its been getting all these comparisons to CoD Elite but its basically just a season pass like GoW, MK9 and a few others have done more than a subscription service. I don’t mind paying 1 lump sum for all the DLC if it costs less overall and really adds a lot more to the game which this does.
It doesn’t say “Early access” it says “Own all” which means you do actually get it. Nobody would pay 4000 MS points or however much it is just for some skins and 2 weeks early access. Its definitely including all the DLC and apparently theres a new mode called “Tank Superiority” Which I guess is like “Air Superiority” maybe
I just got the patch today and the trailer says Premium gets 2 weeks early access. Does this mean the maps are out today? I may have to sort myself out some MS points if thats the case.
Dice said “All clip based LMGs will now have Ext Mag” what do they mean by clip based? Because I thought the RPK was clip based and they removed the ext mag for that. They still only fit 25 bullets in each half of the dual drum on the MG36 too. DICE always screw me hard.
