BF3 is considerably more action oriented then BC2, much smaller maps, alot more vehicles and auto aim added. That is why I still say BC2 was the superior game.
Well its got Seine, Bazaar and Op Metro but then you have Noshahr, Kharg, Oman, Sharqui, Caspian Border, Firestorm and Wake Island which are all really designed for 64 player games, theyre very large and open.Once you know the maps on BF3 and the best ways to move around when theres not a vehicle available then its better and there is a lot of action but there are times I’m just standing around jumping up and down in the water or pretending to smoke the sheesha in some apartment.
BC2 definitely provided less excuses for people to not be in the fight compared to the games you get sometimes in BF3 with 3 mortar guys, 4 snipers and 2 mavs. Thats 9 out of 12 people out of the fight. BC2 had 1 UAV and a couple of snipers but usually the infantry were more aggressive and frequent because the tools they had available were better thought out to keep people pushing on. Tracking balls were one of those tools which kept infantry in the fight areas and moving forwards because recons could play more aggressively unlike the more stationary tools that BF3 has and it kept everyone in the fight unlike the MAV which is BF3s terrible answer to the motion sensor balls. Thats one of the big reasons why I would agree that BC2 was a great game though BF3 is still the best FPS atm. Its hard to say which is superior because they both bring totally different things to the table. If DICE could combine the best of BF3 with the best of BC2 then we really would have a CoD killer.

Also tried the SKS again I forgot how much you can spam shots with that thing. Also the AN-94 with JUST the Heavy-Barrel has NO recoil but you MUST wait for your burst to settle before shooting again.
BC2 had alot better destruction to, like considerably better. Almost every building in that game can get leveled.
Have to agree, I hate not being able to level an entire map in BF3 :{
I hadn’t played in weeks and finally hopped back on the other day and this is still such a fun/funny ass game. Cant wait for DLC though :\
Well I remember that B2K was advertised as having ENHANCED DESTRUCTION but going by what I’ve heard/seen is that everything but the sky in BC2 could be blown up.
The AN-94 is slowly replacing the L85A2 as my ranged rifle of choice =/ that or the AK-74M if I want something fully automatic.
AN-94 is really strong at distance but up close it doesn’t perform well enough for me to stick with it right now. Im still using the L85 for its low recoil and accuracy over distance as my basic go to weapon but Ive also found the G3 really has some punch, mainly because its very accurate and though its only 21 capacity it usually kills in around 3 bullets. Even in close I’m finding I can hold my own because it doesn’t take a half a clip to kill 1 guy so I dont get stuck against 3 other members of a squad so its a nice all round gun even with the low rof.
Been awhile since I have played this game. Fun stuff with buddies going around and capturing everything.
The 21 round magazine really kills the G3A3 for me high damage or not. I only used it for M26 MASS dart fun but you can do the same thing by using it on the M16A4. I’m still mix-n-matching sights on my AN-94 I’m currently using the PKA-3 sight on it but will probably change it.

Well you have to be used to the G3 and know how to handle it with the capacity in mind but I just find every bullet I fire hits where it is meant to so if you have a decent aim and don’t try for suppression then the capacity isn’t too much of an issue.

i have so many friends but everyone just plays Call of duty,im the only guy in the party playing BF3 While everyones on COD

My friends are just the same, too scared to try something different I guess. I just got lucky and found a couple of guys that do what I do and go into the game channel when someone puts a mic in. We scout random guys with mics out by seeing if they’re an annoying little kid or just blasting music or family guy sound bites, if they just behave normally we invite them to party. So I left my mic in, they whacked their mic in and I ended up in a 30 strong platoon and ditched my normal friends party when I want to play bf3.
With how assault is so far, it would have been better to have the classes split into 5 like previous games, Medic/Support/Engineer/Assault/Recon
GGs with Akimbo and yeah me Akimbo and Cawi usually are in party chat. I get to competitive though sometimes lol, Akimbo usually talks shit back and I just go with it. I know I am not always the easiest person to play with, JUST WIN BABY!
Got damn, did I mention how deadly accurate AS VAL can be medium to long range. I can’t wait to unlock the extended mag for this beast.
