They basically said that the maps are great (weren´t abled to play sharqi peninsula). Conquest mode without protected flags will make a comeback: e.g. like in bf2 on Wake the Russians spawning on the island have no protected flag. So if they loose all flags and the whole team dies they are screwed and tickets will drop to 0. Will be called conquest assault and will also be available on the other new maps.
I always loved the non protected flag mode in bf2. If you were the last man standing on your team and the enemy had taken all flags and you barely managed to capture a flag while everybody on your team was praying and your whole team spawned on you… has always been epic. At least on pc with 64 players. Although I had to settle with the xbox version this time I´m still exited.
Do you have to unlock the…flairs for the jets? Is that what they’re called? I have enough trouble just going in a straight line in one of those things let alone figuring out what button to push to shoot a flair out. I did ok flying today, though it was hard not to get shot down almost right after takin’ off. Anyhow, I figured out how to turn without crashing into the ground today. woot!
Maybe I’ll push start (I use a pad when im in a jet) and see if that’s how you equip them. Ive flown at least for 30 minutes and have pushed every button I can but never drop any flares.

Switched to ‘War Tapes’ and it is…awesome. Too bad The Wife will bitch about it and I’ll have to turn it down. lol I didn’t get a chance to hop in a jet to see if that’s how you change gear/weapons.

It would probably take him a lot less time if I didn’t unknowingly shoot the poor guy down the minute he gets into the air /facepalm
Check your loadout for air next time, see if you can switch any of the options to flares, otherwise you need to grind those 300 points out. To be honest, at first, it feels like you’ve got a raw deal with the jet because all you have is a chain gun, but when you learn how it works, that gun is a monster and is far better to creep up on enemy jets with than giving the game away with a lock-on. Without flares, you can avoid enemy missiles by flying low behind other things or just very sharp fast evasive turns. It hopefully shouldn’t take you long for flares, a few kills or vihicle disables will do the trick. If you get the entire vehicle, you get 250 for the kill, disable and detroy. Also, it’s a little grimey, but if you’re squad leader, you can just issue orders for your team (or watch where they’re neutralising/capturing and select that) and you get 20 points for each member following the order while you fly around getting used to it and engaging targets.
I think I got an unlock for the little bird when I was flying and sbd. ran over my mines. Not very practical though. Maybe you could lay down some mines amd then hop in a jet and just sit there…pretty lame though^^. And is probably more work and takes more time than just shooting at stuff to get the 300 pts.
That would be cool but I don’t have any mines. Im like level 8 and haven’t unlocked anything yet. Well, I unlocked the SCAR-H the other day and some shit for a tank. But I don’t think Ive unlocked any equipment. Do you have to use a certain class to unlock certain things? I always run as an Engineer (is that even what they’re called in this game?) because im always trying to drive or fly something.
