Can’t wait, I’ll be on the 360.
I wish I had that much money. lol
Perks of being a reviewer.
lol all you needed to do was scroll up and see that the last 3 posts before yours are PC gamers.
The 1.5GB memory only comes up short on 3D Surround 3-monitor setup but on a single 1080p monitor I’m sure even a single GTX580 can handle it.

what helicopter shit?
the circle strafing. AFAIK, thats impossible in real life. it wouldnt even be so bad if you could damage them with LMGs like in vietnam, or there were stinger missiles. its why i avoid atacama desert and the other maps with the choppers
Oh that shit?Thats The reason why i stopped playing BFBC2 and the fact that your regular Missile dont work even when you trace them was a let down
im really hoping they fixed the issues BFBC2 had
-Blowing up a vehicle doesnt do damage to the person standing next to them
-Vehicle perks actually helping
-the weird spawning glitch where you sometimes cant shoot or do anything for a few secs
Man i got the alpha (beta) and it wont install properly >:(
Hook me up dn3000! I’m surprised Losorno isn’t on that beta lol.
Using a wired/wireless controller is out of the window… the thumbstick are waayyy to sensitive and i could not see an option to change them.

Yes they do. You’re doing it wrong, or they’ve used flares/vehicle smoke (gets rid of tracers 1 at a time)
You indeed got the Alpha. Beta is coming September.

its funny how i actually got into battlefield when i first started playing pc games my first game was COD 1 and COD United offensive then i moved onto Wolfenstein ET and got tired of it then started looking for a multiplayer pc wargame so i ran into bf1942 and bought the game then battlefield 2 came out and i fell in love with it.Till this day i still like that game
I dont know if this has been posted but someone posted this on another forum I frequent. He said he got this info on EA’s BF3 Alpha Trial help page and he’s not sure if this is final. Pretty heavy for minimum specs.

Oh fuck yes. This game is mine. Can’t wait to see SRK on the battlefield.
Awesome, I’ll have no problems with this then. Hope to see some of you guys on the field!
What does RAM have to do with gaming? Like what does it do to the game? That’s the only part I’m wondering about as I have the minimum amount, 4 gigs. As far as everything else goes im sure I will be able to play this game at max settings if having 4gb of RAM is enough. I will have to disable the dual monitor setup im sure.
I can almost guarentee you that you will not be able to run this at max settings. Its mostly just tessallation in DX11 that causes it, but fuck it looks beautiful.
Watch this Crysis2 trailer of when they finally released DX11 for PC (they built the game for console using DX9). When I see trailers of BF3 on PS3, its not doing justice. This trailer gives you an idea of the little things that can add up and are just amazing.
I just built my pc and its pretty damn powerful so we’ll see. The only reason I didnt get 8 gigs of RAM (even though my friend kept telling me too) is I didnt really see a reason to as 4gb is plenty enough to do most anything I will do.
P.S. I played Crysis 2 with that update applied and it ran fine and it looked great. I didnt play it before that update so I dont really know the difference.
