He has no crosshairs, so I am assuming they are playing Hardcore mode. HC modes in BC2 do not have spotting, this is me assuming it will be the same on BF3.
3D Spotting is in BF3. A lot of people playing still don’t realize it’s feature/function. There’s enough videos out
there finally you’ll eventually see it.
No one knows mang. There’s only been the one map, Operation Metro (Paris) and it only has one vehicle for Attackers
(Rush Mode), the LAV82. It’d be safe to assume they’ll function just like they do in BFBC2, if not slightly different/better.
I’ve recently read rumor through Twitter that claymores are in, but I’ve yet to see with my own eyes so, could very well
just be rumor still.

A totally different world. Lets get this out of the way first so you can fully understand. In Battflefield fuck your K/D, unlike in COD your K/D can be largely irrelevant in the Battlefield series. It is more about being a team player and getting/supporting objectives. Stuff like don’t just be a bushwookie, actually spot people provide mortar support call out stuff for your squad (This pertains to sniping). Do not just rush in blindly ala Rambo and think you will get away with it. As good as someone like Reth is in COD, he would struggle immensely if he tried to play Battlefield the same way. It is going to take some adjustment and it will fuck up your COD game. It is a slower paced, more tactical game that awards thinking over reflexs.
Support your teammates by all means possible.

Lol yeah I love that vid saw it awhile ago when I was looking up tips for BC2. Spotting is so important in this game, and you get credit for it if that player you spotted dies.

I got friends that are getting this game for the PC, might be looking into getting our own server aswell once more details about that comes out.
