Yes, yes you can. But the question is, does it really make any difference. I know some games allow you to disable auto aim but there is still auto aim. Is this one of those games? Could be. Im pretty sure I just suck super ass with a mouse and keyboard. I havent noticed it really as everything I play on the PC I use my xbox controller. Some games I use the mouse and keyboard but im never that bad. This is the first time I have played a multiplayer game on that shit though.
Auto-aim is on according to the options thingy…I should turn it off but I don’t even notice it if there is any to begin with. It’s nowhere near as silly as it is in CoD where you could tell if there was an enemy nearby if your gun pulled in a random direction for no reason XD

Just did my best match yet, 8300 points, and that was on defense. I believe I was 31/19. I was actually mopping up with the M416, though I just unlocked the UMP45, and gonna give that beast a shot in a little bit.
UMP45 is very good midrange to somewhat close. Outside mid you really need to burst fire and you will generally get outshot. It is a beast midrange though.
M40 is definitely the way to go for you recon people looking to get good scores. I had 900+ points with just 4 kills because of headshot bonuses. It is alot different being a good recon though, it doesn’t play anything like the other BF classes. You have to learn to use a pistol, a bolt action and a semi auto, learn how to use shotguns, where to plant mobile spawns etc etc. It is very much a thinking mans class and you have to constantly adapt on the fly.
God I need help in this game lol. I can’t get anything going in this game on PS3 it so frustration that even if I try to settle into a role as a medic I still can barely do anything but get maybe 1 or 2 kills above my deaths. My sniping is okay but man I can’t do anything once inside the tunnels and I love support class but when I use it I’m so less effective.
Between the army of camping engineers and shotty hit detection ( one bullet headshot across the map WTF!!!) I’m trying real hard to get good but just not having the success other people seem to and its depressing for someone like me who is normally good at all games but this might just…ugh!
Being aggressive isn’t working and defensive isn’t either but at it least I’m having some success with the assault class using suppressor and reflex scope. It’s a start but this is the only game I’m bad at and I just gotta say more power to the people who can go 14 and 6 in this game.
If its okay I’m just gonna lurk this thread for tips as I just went 14-15 lol.

p.s. I suck at most games though so this is not irregular.
Spot, spot, spot and call out on attack/defend objectives. You get extra points for capturing/defending objectives when you set your sport marker on it. If you are an assault class, drop them medic packs and support guys need to drop ammo. Do everything possible to stay in the fight, even if it means camping for your squadmates to spawn on you. It takes time to understand the game a bit since it isn’t mindless running in circles TDM. Sometimes the best course of action is not to shoot at an enemy right away, you could be giving up your position without knowing it.
Just be a good teammate and you’ll see your numbers change. Plus who knows, maybe you are a better tank commander than a foot soldier.
To all the PC guys on SRK, you guys down for a BF3 server? It would be cool to have our own, super nice to have a 64 player one. I got a friend that is willing to split with me, but donations would always be welcomed.

Jesus Christ the C4 in this game is no joke 0o I’m used to the tiny explosion CoD C4 has, I wasn’t expecting it to take out a fucking wall from inside the room I dumped it in. Holy shit.
Also I had this little situation happen today:
-See a mobile spawnpoint
-Dump C4 on it
-Detonate
-Triple Kill

But I did know about spotting lol, thats the one thing I got right lmao. That C4 idea might make me try support again because thats the class that has my beautiful LMG’s. I wanted to main Support then have Recon as 2nd and Assault medic as a very close 3rd when the team needed one.
I think I need to do alot of hiding in this game,but the objective of RUSH is nothing new I play objectives like CTF and in all shooters and Rush is just a cooler Dom. When do I get a new sniper rifle by the way? This Bolt action is awesome but Bolt action sucks and the default sniper doesn’t kill in one headshot (WTF!!!). But yeah I seem to be doing better with assault so I’m sticking with that until I learn how to more effectively use the others consistantly

Just played a game where there was a flying drone that would spot enemies for us 0_o
needless to say the first park section of the was 100x more fun because of it.
What lvl and class does it get unlocked at?
Your not gonna believe this but I just went 30-22 with the worst fucking team ever. The one game I’m a beast in I get stuck with the most incompetent dumasses ever who can’t shoot, can’t spot, wave flashlight in your that gets you both killed when you were one bullet away from killing him and generally being annoying.
Sorry but I had to get that off my chest. GOD!!! We would have won if not for their lack of intelligence.
Oh and I wasn’t worried about KDR so much as not dieing every time I decide to move because everyone on offence and defence are hiding in a damn corner! God we need another map with less areas to be a bitch in imo.
Is the foregrip the best adjustment for every gun in the game? It seems to help every time of gun.
Not impressed by the beta at all, is rush the only playable game mode? It feels too much like Bad Company 2…
I just definitely had my best game yet on defense, scored 13k+, got a UMP45 service star (5k?), bunch of medals and won the round, and got the IRNV scope for the UMP45. I haven’t played a full round with it yet, but looking through it real quick, it was an instant acid trip. I was 41/23 that round, but the bulk of my points, even over the service star, was from REVIVING!
REVIVE THE FUCK OUT OF YOUR TEAM! My squadmate would get floored, I’d run and clear a room of 1-2 enemies, then revive my squadmate. Boom, 300+ points right there. Another note, I prefer my G17C sidearm over any tact. gun so far.
