Oh sure. You can kill someone in one good shot. But my point is that you don’t lose much kill power at all at that range switching an L/SMG or AR ( which will kill you in a quick squirt anyways ), while gaining** significantly** more power at any range past ~10m.
Don’t forget that the shotgun has different ammo types. The regular buckshot has been giving me all around 1 shot drops and the Flechette ammo is a mix of 1 and 2 shots, but seems to have a longer range. I can’t wait to get that slug round. If it is anything like BC2 slug ammo, then expect snipers to drop to shotgun rounds 
Ok, so I keep getting amazed by the unlocks…
Just unlocked the Smoke Grenades and hooooolyyyy shiiiieeeeeeeet. I haven’t even seen anoyne use em yet!!! But they are GREAT for planting, diffusing, and going in trough choke points. The smoke screen is large and perfect. It fucks up with campers big time.
I also killed a guy with a direct hit smoke, LoL. Like Arnold when he gets outta the Cyberdyne building.
Flachette rounds are for penetration. That’s why they’re filled with needles. Fire that shit into a group a couple times
and you will drop everyone. Oh and also:

Same here. I recently unlocked the F2000 and the SCAR-H. Before the Beta ends I wanna unlock that weird looking SMG the PDW-R that looks like somethign out of Aliens. I just need like 2 more levels. I’m level 30.

GGs tonight Akimbo and Inferno. I was trolloloing people with the M40 today. I unlocked the bolt receiver for it which lets you shoot another shot without having to reload and was just headhunting all night. People were trying to take me out in groups of 3 and I was still out sniping them.
Shit was great. The last few games were nuts. Going from a hard earned win to steamrolling snipers was fun. I love Flechette shells. Most optical sights are actually useful though iron sight bolt actions still feels badass.
The shotgun is amazing and i love it because it sounds like a real shotgun. Managed to get a 2 for 1 with the shotty while going apeshit on people.
Yeah most Medics are retarded, I ran mostly as Medic in BC2 and even if I got zero kills most times I’d still be ranked #1 just for the sheer amout of points you get off revives and packs. Leveling as a Medic is so easy.
I haven’t been able to get into games, try again today.

Man, it may seem wierd but I fucking suck ass when playing on the PC and im nigh unstoppable when I play on the 360. =( I played for about an hour on the PC last night, as a scout, and I could not fucking shoot anyone. I got like 2 kills the entire time and I couldnt even spot anyone. Then I went out to smoke and decided to fire up the xbox and play a round. Went and laid down in the same spot I was at in the PC and I killed the shit outa people. Spotting mother fuckers left and right and just doing all around good. Pretty pathetic imo.

I haven’t been playing much, and when I did try I was having a hard time connecting to servers. Then I was put into a squadless group, and couldn’t get into a squad, which was frustrating, grr
But I turn that shit off…
I’m still unconvinced about Slugs, they’re too much of a gamble for me even up close though that could be connection or whatever but I seem to have more luck with Buckshot or Flachette rounds.
Can you even turn off auto aim? I dunno I haven’t tried it on consoles.
But in the end, the skill of PC gamers > Skill of Console gamers when it comes to shooters, so that may play a big role in it as well. Or maybe you just suck with mouse/keyboard vs controller?
There is no autoaim on the MP, there wasn’t in BC2 either.
