I wish I/we could play on a different map or two. Im already bored playing on the same map. I dont even really try to play I just run around looking for bugs and shit.

catchafire - I was thinking about using my 360 pad to play because I cant bind keys where I want. The only reason I dont is because my accuracy would take a huge dive. My aim sucks anyhow, but it is a shit load better when using a mouse.
On the PC version are you able to form a squad/party before entering a game? You could do that on the 360 but I could never get into a game once I did. Someone said they did indeed have voice chat but thats because they were in a party. I would like to check out the voice chat and see how…good it is. Do you have to push a button to talk or is it an open mic? Is it crisp and clear or all crackly and fuzzy? Shit like that.
WE had it on push to talk. But it defaulted to left shift, same as run… so weird. We rebound it to c.
We also created a party and joined a game, and got on a squad fine. Next time, we got split into different squads with no way to change onto the same squad. The next time we got put on entirely different teams. Meh.
Hopefully they open up the 64 player maps again for a change of pace. Im close to getting my C4, I really wanna mess with that

Thats the kinda shit million was going on about the other day. People arent having fun unless they’re winning 100 percent of the time. Shit, I dont give a fuck if im winning or not. Im having fun either way. Its even more of a challenge to me when my team is the underdog.
Like yesterday…My team was getting hammered by some dude laying down in a hallway that they all wanted to go down. I would have just went around, behind the guy but they insisted on going that way. So I typed “this is how you handle this fool” and I shot a fucking rocket down the hallway and killed the dude. No one got away with camping down corridors again because people started using their rockets to minimize the hallway campers.
same thing happened on 360. Out of the hour that I invested on the game, I never got a complete squad on the same team.

I’m still laughing from last night when I decided to dick around with the Engineer with a Shotgun. I launch a rocket into a corridor and got a triple kill XD

I can see myself having mad fun in this game if only people would spot enemies out…Playing with people who try to play it like it’s cod is simply annoying cuase you’re playing blind and teamless half the time…that’s why I think this game isnt gonna beat cod…also this game is not even quarter of what I thought it was gonna look like the outside area looks like straight shit. They really shouldnt have been throwing pc trailers in everybodies faces when the consoles look this bad…people cant help but feel jipped. Anybody else feel like managing your equipment is clunky?
Hopefully this game turns out a bit better than what it is now or peeps are gonna flock to that Duty.
Yeah, the way you change your equipment is kind of clumsy imo. I do agree that more people need to spot enemies. People that pick Scout/sniper should be doing the most spotting imo but most of the people I have played with dont even bother with it. I played as a sniper for a bit last night. Man, I only killed like 2 or 3 dudes but I got mad spot bonuses.
I do think that this game wont do as good as MW3 just because it is more focused on playing as a team. And it can get frustrating playing with people that dont realize that you’re playing an objective game type and they run around like crazy as if they’re in a TDM game. Im sure a lot of that is due to most of the people playing are use to the mechanics/tactics they have grown used to in CoD.
I ALWAYS try to spot people even though randoms are either really good or complete ass.
You know, I really dont mind that BF3 uses an internet browser for Battle Log. Its kinda nice imo. I can have the game ready to go but open another tab to look at SRK to see if anyone is playing or wants to play. I thought that was kinda nifty.
Man oh man, i’m loving this game…the action is non stop and you can’t sit still to long in any one spot, gotta keep moving.
Yup, i’ve been doing that alot and it’s cool because you can sometimes catch a bunch of them camping together around the corner and get extra kills…works the same when they camp the escalators in the subway station too (i got 5 today).
The only real complaint I have is why can’t you customize your class before you get into the game? I feel rushed trying to change weapon layouts during the game :bluu:
Alright, so after getting nowhere with the 360 beta, I tried the PC one, and managed to get some games in. Wow, I really suck with a keyboard and mouse now, lol. Game seems promising though, aside from the massive glitches with the map(I could only play on the Metro one), and needless to say, it looks amazing with all the bells and whistles on
