fed is almost god, he was done but its obvious he’s possesses as an extra ability called the fed effect where it becomes near impossible to close him out. fed is still gonna win it all imo.
roddick looked amazing, damn i wish he wasnt in feds draw. i feel bad for roddick, he would have won at least 1-2 us opens and at least 3 wimbledons if it wasnt for fed.

Nadal was already up to Federer’s game. He owned him on clay while Fed won those matchups on a hard surface aside from last year’s Wimbeldon. They’ve been pretty much even.
Roddick on the other hand has only beaten Federer once, in 17 tries, and only in one of their earliest meetings. There is just something about Federer that Roddick cannot get around, and that’s what’s stopping him.
yeah that matchup is impossible for roddick because fed can read his serve better than anyone. then fed has a top tier serve that roddick cant break which results in no chance for andy.
i think fed can or should have beaten nadal at roland garros. i always thought he did much better coming to net against nadal on clay because nadal camps behind that baseline living for the long rallies. i know nadal has some sick passes but you have to take them every now and then, but i think feds best and maybe only chance to beat nadal is to charge that net. its not like nadal is leagues better on clay than fed.

Which reminds me of the coincidence of Federer always facing either Djokovic or Roddick or any other anti-Nadal player even though now he is #2 seed. Call me paranoic but I swear the ATP wanted Fed’s reign to be over so it would be more appealing to watch. IMO it always seems like Nadal’s bracket is cake all the way to semis. Just my 0.02
