That’s true, but he’s already at a huge disadvantage. Adding tron to the team will help out both of them, but Tron is a shitty point character. She could work, but in this game u best have a least a god on your team.
I’d recommend sent. Rogue/Sent(drones)/Guile(AA)
Sent has a good AA and in return he gives u one of the best ground controlling Assist in the game, his drones. Rogue can also take on Cable, so your only bad match is now gone. Guile can take on a sent if need be as well. We all know by now Sent owns, So over all, you have a good team there.

I’ve been trying to find a decent team set up and so far I’ve been using
Hayato/Jin(B)/Thanos(a)
I would like to keep Hayato and/or Jin* if possible*. Thanos seemed like a good choice because of his bubble assist, which lets hayato and jin get in some combos, but I’m new so I’m not entirely sure.
I would like to put together a competitive team without having to use god tier characters. I know its hard to compete without at least one on a team, but I dont entirely mind the idea of an uphill battle.
I’m trying out a Bison[Expansion]/Psylocke[Anti-Air] team. Any thoughts on the last member? I’d like to avoid Magneto or Storm though, hate those characters.

Also, I use to play that same team (Hayato/Jin/Thanos) though I think I ran Jin on A at the time. I booted out Thanos because although his bubble assist is sneaky, it never seems to catch good players who toy around in low tier much. I replaced him with Tron. Didn’t want to, but had too. Better damage/options.
Really want to use a team with Ironman on it. I hear Magneto/Ironman/Sentinel is a good team, but I don’t know if I want to put that kind of efforti nto learning Magneto. He’s really cool, but I hear he is extremely complex and MVC2 is a side game.
Is there any alternatives, or is this THE team to use if you’re going with Ironman?

No, it’s a lot of different iron man teams u can choose from. His VERY best assist would be Doom AA (Rocks), and then Sent drones. A lot of people play Iron man with Sent, since Sent is the better point character, along with the fact you can have more versatility with sent. Doom pretty much NEEDS a “Get the fuck OFF me button,” Sent doesn’t.
So either choose Dr.Doom (AA) or Sent (Drones) as your assist, then choose a good point character(or two). It’s really up to you if u want to add another AA for iron man, or not. Add a AA for a better Iron man team or add in another God for a better overall team.
Cable could fit the bill, his AA isn’t the best, but it’s good enough. I see Combofiend(Magneto/Ironman/Sentinel ) using Storm sometimes instead Magneto, so give that a go too. Psylocke is a good AA for Iron man, since she sets up his infinite so ez. Storm, Magneto work the best out of the gods with psylocke AA.
Edit: WM/IM/Doom(AA) or Sent(Drones) is what you want if you’re going to use IM and WM together
Don’t forget the Proton Cannon cancels nicely into Hyper Sentinel Force.
I would say to pick up Blackheart (but you’d think I’m bias) if Mag or Storm seems to be too complex for you.
Zoning with demons and his anti-air can be great. Cancelling BH’s Judgement Day into PC hurts like hell. You can switch from his infinite to IM’s really easily. And also, the BH-B assist helps IM to track down runaway Storms and Sentinels really well.

Thanks guys. I think I may be leaning towards Ironman/Storm/Sentinel. Would the order of the team affect my ability to use that storm/sent DHC thats so good?
I would prefer cable over Storm, but aren’t Cable and Sentinel both “user” characters who need battery to build? I thought those types don’t work that well together?

Or team santhrax, Storm/Sent/Capcom
or team MSP, Magneto/storm/psylock
those are all fun teams that’ll really teach you the mechanics of the game, and help you understand the game engine. Team Row is great too, Mag/Sent/Cable. Storm/sent/cable can be a great combo too.
ive got a decent team now which uses cyke/sent/jin
but id like to replace jin with someone I DO NOT want magneto storm or cable or ironman or captain commando or dr.doom on this team any sugestions?
