If you’re looking for a projectile, you can try BBHood or maybe even doom rocks. I use cable/bbh in one team and her missile gives you a decent amount of time to get the AHVB in
Actually Doom rocks might work well. If you’ve seen footage of Clockw0rk’s Omega Red, he used Doom Rocks to lock down and mix up with OR. I think I might try that. And if not, BBhood is a cool gal.

Venom has some pretty good rushdown, (i cant remember anything specific off the top of my head, the venom thread would prob help more) but i do know that him + doom laser assist can do some sweet stuff like cr.lk cr lk lasers into venom web and you can DHC to almost anything with any of those characters.
if you want to beat Scrub though its going to be pretty hard, as youll have to be on the offensive more and if he lands one shot he can kill you. also, if you have sent on your team you wont have an easy anti-air counter for cap so you need to have a better sent than them. alot of those characters wont beat sent or cable in a one on one so you really have to be nice.
id try venom-a/sent-y/doom-a and maybe switch venom for omega red if that doesnt work for you

Hey so… As everybody was talking about thanos I would like to make a couple questions about him right here… I’m trying out with this teams:
IM AAA, Cammy AAA, and thanos Bubble assist
Storm, Cammy, and thanos
So well, I was toying around and found some interesting combos with these teams, but after getting glad about that, I noticed that I don’t have strats for thanos when he is on point, at least not for these teams, so as u may know a lot more about thanos, could u give some advices?? So well, I play decently a lot of characters but seems like thanos its the exception. Thanks 4 ur answers.
Also… For the teams u were talking about, i suggest omega red AAA, so helpful, as u can do interesting sent resets, and also he is a good assist for cable and storm, is good for cable cause he easily builds his own meter, but also is good dying when enemies get close to him, a good AAA will keep him alive, and storm gets a lot of help cause OR AAA connects to free hailstorms, about beating team scrub, just remember that doom’s AAA beats cap AAA, if still u find it hard to beat try blackheart and some AAA, just punish flying sent with: hcb + hp XXX qcf + kicks (I don’t remember names).Hope it helps.
relatively new MVC2 player here, and i just want a team that can offer me fast and smart gameplay. my MSP is alright, but folds like paper. Thinkin Matrix or Mag/Cable/Locke. thinkin some team with Mag/Psylocke in it? Thanks in advance.
If you are looking for a team to just jump into mid level play Matrix could be a really good choice. Scub also… or santhrax. All those teams have some beast combos but you don’t really need them to win unless your opp is fairly decent. Just focusing on zoning… spacing… and making either the right reads or having the right reactions (whichever you lean toward) will be what helps you improve. Don’t worry bout the combos til find yourself doing the basic bnbs and thinking “I wish I could continue that combo”… then go learn how to extend it. Basic bnbs in this game are 40 - 60% with 0 or 1 meters. No reason to risk the match on a combo you drop 50% of the time…
For high tier I’d try out matrix, scrub, santhrax and low or mixed tier I’d suggest trying rogue if you like those fast teams that can rush. Rogue can technically trijump into combos faster and better than mags… just she doesn’t have all the great options he does after landing that hit. But you should know how to use those great options before you try to use em right?
mag/sent/locke. and matrix is a def. great choice.

nah, but really, tronne assist is GODLIKE…if your opponent doesn’t know how to jump. i guess you could try blackheart

Hey guys I been wanting to get into this game for a while now and I just recently picked it up.
I don’t really have a team right now but my favorite characters are Cammy, Strider, Venom, Blackheart, Sentinel, Felicia, and a few others. Would any of these characters be able to form a viable team? I would prefer to have Cammy on a permanent spot and my play style is strictly rushdown in every game. I’d rather not run another MSS team.
On another note, if there is anybody willing to help me improve and develop a better understanding of this game my GT is NightmareBA. Or maybe other people who are starting out with this game too (although I doubt it). Unfortunately most, if not everyone I know doesn’t play this game or at least not anymore. Looking forward to meeting some new people and having fun, wish I started playing this game a lot sooner haha.
with those characters you say are your favorites the best team would probably be
sentinel-y/blackheart-b/cammy-a, but cammy and blackheart arent really assists that help sentinels rushdown ability.
Venom can rush down decent but a good assist with lots of blockstun would really help him.
if you have a good sentinel you will win alot of matches, i’d say make him your priority in characters to learn if you like him
Put cammy on point. You can pressure with her cannon drills and sents drone assist. Blackheart anti air or striders kick assist(forgot what its called.) I’ve seen people do nasty stuff with it for sent. So cammy/sent/strider(lol strider last) or sent/strider/cammy or cammy/sent/blackheart. Cammys anti air is really good btw and is homing

Cammy’s AAA is really good but it is not homing.
Its homing - when you call cammy AAA and someone airdashes over you she’ll hit them - even though you called her when facing the other way. So in that sense he’s right. Commando AAA doesn’t do that.
EDIT - Tracking is probably a better word than homing.
