I don’t believe that one player being able to play a character at a high level makes him a good character. Good players wreck with bad characters all the time. Isn’t one of his supers a taunt?
Because one of his supers isn’t incredibly useful, he’s bad? So Megaman and Ruby Heart are also bad?
Against a lot of characters Dan’s bag of tricks runs deep and dangerous.
Well I don’t think that they’re bad characters. I will also say that I don’t know anything about dan. But all things point to him being a joke.
Not to mention that the super taunt is a great stalling tool. When there’s a few seconds left, and you have an instant DHC, throw out your super taunt, and if they start to punish, BAM hailstorm/proton cannon/whatever in the face.

I mentioned Dan since it seemed like you were wanting to stay away from the god tier and what not. If that’s the case, why not pick a really fun character that will get you respect for using him.
He’s got great supers to cancel into for combos. A virtually safe super for getting him in (super fireball). His RH kicks have great range and priority. His launch will be out most attacks that characters can throw at you when they’re landing. He’s an INCREDIBLE meter builder! You can call a good ground assist and sj.RH, sj.RH, lk knee special, to falling sj.RH and you’ll have about half meter in a safe way. He can link his supers. His RH throw plus an assist like psylocke leads to half life combos. His flying kicks make for good cross ups and lock down. All and all, he’s WAY better than people give him credit for. It’s not just a case of a good player making a bad player look good.
I’m not trying to stay away from the god tier per say. Just trying to keep it simple with my teams. Put i’ll prob give dan a try. So BH/dan/cyke ? What assist for dan?
Anti air is good for extra defense. You could use his auto-graph for extra ground coverage, but it’s kinda awkward. All and all, he’s just a fun character.
If you’re looking for other functional middle characters for that team, you can try silver samurai, ironman, thanos, basically anyone with good supers since BH is a good meter builder. Point blacnk Judgement Day super cancelled into any of the above supers can really hurt.

So anyone wanna help out this team I’m working on? It’s basically Felicia/Cammy/Psylocke, and sometimes I’ll switch up and use Jill/Psylocke/MegaMan. So far, both have been working nicely, with no savage losses…yet.
for starters I think cammy should be in front of felicia. for some nice meter but also for a possibly safer dhc into super catlitter. alpha counter into felicias catlitter special is probably safer too

I WOULD use Tron, but I think her Projectile assist isn’t really fair for low tiers and I just cannot count on Tron if she’s my last character yet.

Anyone can throw in a couple of good strategies to use for them will be useful. Also a few characters you can recommend for them(no strid/doom trap).
I personally would have Storm first, for early hailstorm assist punish, snapbacks.
Magneto has snapbacks as well, but Magneto first tends to get beat down a lot, forcing switch outs to Storm anyway. Ive seen tourney matches where, Magneto gets ate up, then is forced to switch out, making the team depend on Storm (basically) for heavy damage. People are too hyper with Mags, making him eat a lot of damage (Capcom abuse), which is why they usually end up switching out so fast. Sentinel should be last, because fly can stall for time drain, defense, and ability to run through lk, lp, hk or hp hits into HSF. Overall, it really is about your ability to play with each character, meaning it really doesnt matter what the line is, just skill.
