Looks like Ken is Georgia? Dudley is Fujiwara? Forgot the names of the others though, looks like I’ve seen them before

more like Chunbat
Yeah…lots of Chun creeped it’s way up into this one again but Koku held it down.

With moves like that, its hard to believe that they were in the losers bracket. They fought right down to the last drop of life. Now thats how a match should be!
i see a interesting thing in second round from first match thing between kokujin vs tokido
kokujin dudley jump and make a j.fierce…when he land he make a ex uppercut …
tokido see and try a s.roundhouse etc …but s.round house is making from the other side (wtf) and ex upper cut hit tokido …
i think this is because kokujin change sides in air but s.round house of tokido change sides again…and uppercut hit tokido
excuse me suck english
Yeah, both players played exceptionally well. Exodus got knocked into losers on his second match because he was using his 1st-day Remy and then Sean on a shitty stick. The way he played Sean he probably could have won, but the stick… Anyway, I’m not sure who knocked Epsilon into losers but I’m guessing it was one of the Chun players there.
I was pissed at myself for not winning against Epsilon in our match, when I know I could have (I didn’t use meter right, didn’t block enough, wasn’t being patient enough, etc). But then looking back on it I’m kinda glad I didn’t win because then right afterward he went on to have that match vs. Exodus which was crazy cool to watch.
If you’re talking about Ken vs. Ibuki, I think you demonstrated a bit more skill in that match, but Ken has way more powerful moves/combos that allow him to do more damage with less effort, so you’re not taking off as much on a regular basis as he is. I’ve experienced the same thing when I was trying to be different people instead of top tier characters. Ken is just way too overpowered. Thats why I switched to Chun Li and c.MK XX SA II my way into victory. Fight overpowered with overpowered.
In any event, I commend you for playing with people that arent Ken/Chun-Li/Yun. They’re fun to be, but I mean SF3 isnt just 3 people.
Eh, it’s a long story and this isn’t really the thread for it. But I would like to say that DJ applies action to theory while I apply reaction and thought, and I hope we can meet somewhere in between some day. Meanwhile, we are still upping our separate games by leaps and bounds with each tourny and I hope we can both continue on this trend of self improvement. I get what you’re saying though.
Chun is more overpowered than Ken. It’s true. Most of the characters in the game have better tools to deal with Ken than Chun (even Ibuki…all of her good pokes don’t completely whiff over Ken  ). After starting to understand the game better I’d rather fight Ken any day over Chun. Calling Ken overpowered is like circa 2002 bullshit that doesn’t really apply to what people know about the game today. He’s just simply a solid character. c.MK to super is not some god confirm like Chun Li’s and it takes more than a couple weeks to really understand Ken.
Well, there are valid reasons why Ken is stronger than the other shotos.
Which is why people don’t pick the other shotos. It’s all why pick Akuma or Ryu when Ken has similar options and lacks the disadvantages the other 2 or 3 shotos carry (if you want to mention Sean any ways). All of the shotos minus Sean IMO are worth using but Ken is statistically better. Yet…3S is heavily reliant on mind games and both Ryu and Akuma have solid options with their mix ups and damage potential as well and even some options that Ken doesn’t.

Battle of the Taunts!! Hugo FTW
Ouch, Pecheur taking Belgium to task. I played with that dude in Paris two years ago, he was good then and I guess he’s better now. Also, I laughed at the taunting. “Oh la la! Oh la la!” Oh, French language, how I miss you.
Bleh I had to shut if off half through the first match.
Not hating on Europe but that was a wakeup DP fest of the scrubbiest proportions.
Yeah, the France Vs Belgium matches were pretty bad. Too random - ie use of ex dps/fireballs when super was available. x_x
