He did it because he was trying to show no mercy. It’s really common for Ken players to want to kick the everloving crap out of any random Q. This is because Q is the only person that Ken can do double shoryu’s with at midscreen without having to kara. He used this to his advantage a lot if you watch the match.

I’d rather play against a Ken than a Makoto any day. What a stupidly designed character she is. Yun, Chun, and Ken have minor flaws that lead to them being overpowered (ie Yun is a fine character other than Genei Jin, which itself would be fine with just a little nerfage), but their fundamental designs are fine. Makoto isn’t like that. Even playing as Makoto is a guessing game. Playing Makoto is like playing roullette, and you’re the house.

actually, Ken can double Shoryu Elena and Necro (midscreen) as well without having to kara. doing that on Necro just requires slightly stricter timing than Elena and definitely Q.

On another note, C-13 had a nice SAII setup against that Alex. Alex jump-in gets stuffed by Makoto’s s.mp and while the Alex is in the air, C-13 does SAII.
I think I’m going to steal that. :lol:
This is true. Q is the easiest though… then Elena, then necro. In fact, you can do jab srk and then strong srk on the second one with Q, and you can’t do that with the others because the timing is way too strict.
