The Youtube channel that sonicsnake linked to (with Kuroda’s Hugo) has recently uploaded a lot more matches of Kuroda’s Dudley and Gouki.
Edit: re-link here

Just uploaded, will have more coming. Finally figured out how to not get my pc to shut off on render lol…
Hehe, that’s my channel.
I’m currently editing and encoding the 20 win streak he had with Gouki, against Great-Japan before he quit, so there’s plenty more beasting to upload. There’s 3 more to finish but I’ll have them up tomorrow as it’s nearly 4a.m. here and I’m going to bed.
I’m going to put the entire set on a DVD when all this is done, also.
I would be very interested in purchasing a copy of said DVD
I feel like it’s a bit wrong for someone to make money off of Kuroda’s footage =… Though you could easily make your own Shend :lovin:.

^
^ Has the whole set of Great-Japan in .fr format, I also linked the Kuroda sets from the 2ch forums which has Boss,Persona9,ExRemy vs Kuroda a few posts back.
I’m completely GGPO ignorant and a mac user (boo!), is getting proper ripped footage straightforward to do then?
Cheers
Ah, well haha… I honestly don’t know anything about mac’s so finding the right video capturing program would have to be on you or someone that knows what’s up :wonder:
Though once you find a program to capture video it’s fairly easy. Once you’ve installed GGPO, look in the GGPO folder and you will see a “ggpofba” open that up and click “Replay Input”… search for the folder you put the Kuroda replays (.fr files) and open one. The game should instantly open up and start playing (remember to have the 3s roms in the “Roms” folder). Once you find some matches you’d like to put on youtube, start your video capturing program, the video should be uncompressed so encode it and upload!:encore:
o and part 2 of boss vs kuroda -
thanks for the uploads metric.
i’m curious what codec you use to encode? looks great.
MPEG-II > 1800 bitrate > 29.970 FPS
damn, we need an audit of who is uploading what. I’ve got the .fr files which have been posted here, though I haven’t been able to sit through an entire session (wish i could fast forward) - then there are the specific matches being posted on youtube which I’m not sure as to whether they’re part of the set I already have in .fr format.
In any case, big big thank you to those who spent those long hours recording/encoding etc etc
Ah no, there’s no way I’d make money off of it. I was thinking more along the lines of uploading it as an ISO on a torrent site or something similar.
That’s why I’m uploading as much as I can, most of the sets he played were nearly, or over an hour long.
Press F1 to fast forward the .fr files when replaying them on GGPO.
That’s a great idea about merging all the files into an ISO btw.
someone gotta make a list of the download files for kuroda, boss, KO or any other top japanese player footage and post it
this is definitely bringing 3s back right now lol
as i said before i can help record the replays if anyone needs help…also when you spectate a match you can just click on file and record input and just name the file and watch…when the match is done everything will be recorded so no need to worry about recording using fraps until after everything is done
at least thats what i do and it works fine for me
Man, I’ve been using, watching and recording GGPO replays for about a year now and I genuinely didn’t know you could do it, and all that time I was cursing the fact that I couldn’t. I feel so stupid.
Lol, this is where I do my Mr Bean impression and pretend I alwedy noo dat.
Cheers
everytime I’ve done that the screen goes black for me. :xeye:

Next I will dig threw persona9 vs kuroda to see if there’s some sick shit.
i recorded from 2am-8:45am pst. 8:45 ggpo crashed while he was fighting boss. Any footage after i did not get.
Looks like Metric has the persona9 set covered, so as soon as I get finished with the DVD (which should be tonight or tomorrow) I’ll get cracking on the set he played with a dude called YM(KEN.
EDIT: The DVD’s finished. Just checking over everything now and it all looks in order. If anyone knows a good torrent site (preferably private so I can distribute it to the people who want and deserve it), let me know and I’ll stick it up.
Glad to see all these links to Kuroda footage. Been looking for more of this! And thank you to Nica for enlightening me about recording inputs. Does that only work on a certain blitter? My screen goes black as well.
