Announcer hands Spellmaster J the mic good times begin to roll
Some nice quotes:
senaka: āUni uses a top tier, and loses to Oroā¦ā
somebody: "I wanna see AFM vs Koshun!"
Koshun: "I dont wanna see AFM cry."
AFM: āHey I do pretty well against Raohā¦ā
Jima: āSo⦠For Ken you would put forth RX, for Yun you put Pierre, and against Chun⦠you put Messatsu Yarou! and here is Messatsu right now!ā
Jima: āCombo god Senaka!!! Yea!! Senaka uses 2 gauges and goes berserk!! Call him SenaRX!!ā
Someguy: āSenaXYarou!!ā
Jima: āSenaka, I dont think you ever need to do combos to win!ā
Im pretty sure that guy shouting hella loud is Kokujin.
666 the mark of the beast(ing)!!
dling now
this should be sick :)
Thanks for some of the translations Matt, glad you did the part where Senaka majorly screws up the midscreen Aegis. That shit was hilarious.
Anyone know what was being said in the OTB vs. Jima match in the 4/29 RanBat? :wonder:
koshun VS afm is funny
Just saw the vid. Everytime Deshi parried high after a c lk was when his opp has no super. Heās expecting c lk, c lp, uppercut I think.
There was one more team you didnt/forgot to? mention it was the black yun, grey urien and green chun anyone know who they were? They faced Ochibi, Senaka and Make inu? (was make inu Q?)
koshun my hero
Whoa did yaāll check out that Remy beasting?
Then he gets sat down by Q. :wow:
Iām fuckinā movinā to Japan thatās all there is to it.
He was expecting a strong>fierce and got lucky.
He expected strong>fierce and got lucky twice?
well, as said before by someone else in the thread, i think it was a good gamble seeing as it is hard to combo 3 light kicks on wake up.
so that would mean that if the opponent would have went for a second crouching light kick, he (deshiken) doesnt risk (unless the opponent was psychic) eating a super.
on the other hand, going for the high red parry covers a few things:
-c.lp in the classic crouching lk, crouch lp, crouching lk super combo
-crouching medium punch, following the crouching light kick
-far standing medium punch, following c.lk
-close medium punch followed by hp after c.lk
also, his decision to follow the red parry with a far medium punch is intriguingā¦im thinking it allows him to verify if the opponent gambles by going for the super after one of the linkeable attacks. or maybe its simply just for stylez

New ranbat from QCFPunch.com⦠(those guys even bit off the KSK Gamerās Vision style video interfaceā¦which i find amusingā¦haha). QCFPunch is made up of these University of Manitoba (Winnipeg, Canada) players. I think theyāre OK. I mean, it wouldnāt be fair to compare them to the Japanese players weāre so used to watching. But itās definitely good to see different ranbats from different players.
What video are you guys talking about?
Can you link?
Can someone please rehost wrb_060502_deshiken.zip or send me the file(s) over aim. Itād be greatly appreciated.
