Watched part of the Kuroda Akuma dvd at Denjin Arcade today, it was crazy. Urien and Akuma are both just standing there like half a screen away, all of a sudden Kuroda throws random super, and boom, it hits Urien at the very start of his jump! Dude somehow predicted exactly when the Urien player was going to jump, and threw a super 5 frames before his correct prediction. This happened again when Kuroda’s win streak was in the mid-50s, except his opponent was a Ken player. There was a whole bunch of other impressive things going on, but those random supers struck me as being the craziest. Screw ume-shoryu, it’s all about kuro-super.

For a long time I’ve been thinking that his super is good enough to be used like that. I know its saved me in certain situations on many occasions.
The Asian version of 3s doesn’t have all the sound bytes. The just say “Ha” for Hadouken for example. They did it beacuse use of Japanese language in other countries is considered offensive.
