Was that Wong-Hart match really a money match? Neither players seems to have taken it very seriously. Random supers, kara palms, stupid parry attempts, missed supers, weird activations? Both players are really good, but, I don’t know, I just feel like they didn’t take it that seriously for some reason.

I thought I remember reading it was just an exhibition match. Justin Wong I don’t think even decided to challenge anyone. I believe it was brought upon him as a special event and he just decided to partake in it. That might have something to do with it if it looks like they didn’t take it as seriously.
If no one remembers this, this was that hype ass tourney that had fucking everybody who’s anybody showing up. I understand Ryan’s parrying people’s balls off and it’s SBO time and what not but I’m a tad surprised no one else is on this.

Hey, sorry about the posting frequency but I said some stuff a few minutes ago and basically I thanked a bunch of people but I forgot to mention TheShend. Thanks a lot for all you’ve done. I’ve basically gotten too lazy to upload vids so I know how tiresome/time-consuming it can be and I really appreciate all that you’ve done. I’m a lot better (still shit) because of your contributions to 3rd strike media.

Just to clarify the whole money thing - mine and Zak’s weren’t money matches as they were announced at the last minute. Ryan wasn’t allowed to enter the 3s tourney because he had already won a ticket from the Tekken one. However there was talk of a money match between him and Wong, but for a very small amount. So it was more of an exhibition match than anything else. As Ryan’s match was being announced, the crowd was cheering for me and Zak to play as well so thats why we ended up playing.
Anyways, in case people were wondering, Justin really did shake things up around here. No one apart from Ryan got any wins on him, and no matter what game he played, he left everyone in shock.
And if you guys haven’t seen his money match against Sinity - a UK trash talker that has always claimed to be able to beat Wong at MvC - watch it!!
