The Korean SBO Qualifiers didn’t really seem like qualifiers to me as well. My team got 2nd place, but I’m glad we aren’t getting a SBO spot because we’d just get our asses raped in Japan and it’s not fair to take a spot from someone that will do a hell of a better job than me.

Yeah people play all over the world, but it’s nowhere near mainstream. The shit is still underground. Every now and then I’ll hear a random person talk about Street Fighter 4 or yell out a random tigeruppercut SFX, but other than that nobody talks about Fighting games or takes em seriously.
