Ibuki is rushdown city. That’s how she wins.
Uh, is there some type of rule that players can’t pick two top tiers for their team in Mikado tournaments? I can’t recall seeing a top tier team even once, and in 3S I find that a bit too much of a coincidence. I’m probably wrong, who knows, but clarification would be nice.
i was wondering the same thing. it seems that only one of the top three is allowed on a team from what we’ve seen so far. iirc, i’ve seen a ken/mak team. i hope this is the case because it forces players to bust out their mid tier 2ndaries. or else we’d be seeing nothing but chun/yun teams and i’d be constantly vomitting.
I miss playing 3rd strike.
My job makes me work on the weekends currently
So I can’t go and play in the arcades
To keep on subject: Are there any more recent videos of any Alex players?
Ya know who I haven’t seen in too long?
Mokomokofu.
I wasn’t exactly in his fan club but I play a yellow Ken too, and it’s been too long.
I don’t think there is any rule regarding character choice at Mikado, because in the following matches Rikimaru plays Yun/Chun and Misawa plays Ken/Yun:
that chun showed that spamming SOB in round 2. i hate yuns
Japanese just like those other characters.
am on it.
that’s also how she loses. random shoryus and random super ftl.
Yeah…also Makoto guessing right. That always wins.
That oro is sick.
I see. Well, in the more recent Mikado tournament which took place on January 10th (Shend posted it a couple pages back), there was another difference in the rules compared to the ones you linked to which are from November. In the newer vids, it’s like an A-cho tournament where the players go to their 2nd character regardless of whether they won or lost. And Misawa didn’t use Yun at all (I know that doesn’t really prove anything). Maybe things did get shifted in more ways than one?
Agreed. 4-5 hits and she’s done…
A few vids from the Capital Challange in Ottawa this weekend.

More to come.
Can anyone provide links for matches where Kuroda plays Urien, Ken etc.
In the “Japanese players 2ch ranking”, Kuroda is 1st almost everywhere!
New GVision out, featuring Australia’s Hong and KSK’s Alex
Edit: Is the torrent coming down for anyone else?
Im stuck at zero too, no seeder around :shake:
Atleast the youtube has it up to the semi’s. AFM’s commentary for KSK is ridiculous, LoL. Sounds like good times.
