Hi! I just uploaded some matches from the last tournament (RT2007 S4) by Ryuuko at http://youtube.com/profile_videos?user=DetectiveCL&p=r .
See how Kokujin ended RX’s monstrous 116 wins

116 wins…that’s a lot of beasting in one sitting. You must just think you’re god once you get past 100 wins. I imagine at least 3 people just retired from 3S.
Which I’m sure those who witnessed the whole scenario was a hella horrific memory!!!
Damn, RX must have been annoyed when ex fireball came out instead of ex aegis. Still, that guy is just too damn good.
LOL. His execution finally hit the tubes after 116 games. If I won 10 games in a row in a decent Japanese arcade I’d be happy. 116 is just murder.
I would imagine it was pretty boring. You know what it’s like playing casuals with a bunch of people who don’t even come close to beating you. It’s fun at first but it gets kind of old pretty quick because you’re not challenged and not learning from your opponents.
It’s a lot more fun playing people you go 50/50 with.
Dang, 116 wins?? At that point, yeah, the only way you’re gonna lose is fatigue, and it seems like that was RX’s problem. How great is that guy’s execution, and yet he screws up sphere xx reflector and then ex reflector? When someone with such awesome execution starts screwing up, you know it’s fatigue. If he had hit that uoh – ex reflector, the win count could have gone up to 117. But you gotta lose eventually I suppose.
One time I got about half that many wins in an arcade, but you’re right Xeno, it was because I was playing guys who were worse than me and it was pretty boring. It’s much more fun to play people who are on par with or better than you. I can’t imagine RX was playing people like Kokujin all those 100 games, right? I mean, if he was beasting like that one players that good… wow.
ahahahaha fucking awesome
that proves it, RX is god.
Don’t forget there are tons of scrubs in Japan. For all we know the first 100 wins was against a bunch of scrubs. Just because they’re Japanese doesn’t make them automatically good. It really depends what arcade you go to.
kokujin’s a fucking machine
If you streak at *all *in a Japanese arcade with comp, you’d be happy…I know first hand!
I got just 4 in a row at Sportsland (Shibuya) and I felt like the lord Jesus Christ.
You gonna try for the foriegn SBO quals? My hometown boy is down there now practicing up for it. Gonna bring the Chesapeake Oro beasting.
Oh no Im not in Japan right now…I’ll be there soon but after SBO is done unfortunately.
I was talking about when I was last there (couple years back).
I’m not quite sure whether that’s the case. If you remember Deshiken Instant you see Deshiken go up vs pretty much 3 random people(12332) where on the last game he already got beat. IIRC these 3 were supposed to be the best of the arcade but I’m not sure if I read that correctly. Even so, it pretty much shows even topranked can be beaten by lowerranked if they’re not careful.
I also doubt that RX was just bashing newbs, sure there is trash amongst the 116 opponents, but there’s probably been quite a few topranked players aside from Kokujin that had their go on him too.
er. three players from shanghai reached 100+wins plateau last year. 105, 112, and i can’t remember the last one.
so it’s nothing really special.
go head, flame me. but i’m just stating the truth. when someone’s THAT good playing against a bunch of ppl THAT much worse than him, 100+wins will happen.
i personally had 32 wins against a bunch of ppl too. but i’m no RX. there, that’s my point.
New GVision ranbat! Haven’t watched it yet, but the draw shows KO, Match, Junin, Genki, among others.
pretty interesting ranbat, with a nice selection of characters and unusual matchups
Props to Nacchan, I’ve seen him play with like 7 different characters now
K.O’s Yang is shapin’ up greatly for SBO, dealing perfects almost too easily lol
Looking at the bracket pics: Pierre choose Yang and lost at 1st round lol.
He better practice UP Urien for SBO since it’s very close now. Or maybe he has some super-secret sleek trick that he wants to hide until sbo comes by.
yeah but it was not only at gvision, he got beat by kokujin. you know.
a guy who retired.
I was surprised to see an elena player for once in the new ranbat. Good stuff.
I know Shekeib is a foreigner, anyone know where he’s from? Cool to see him get some playtime in there.
