I want to make a joke about the Titans but until this somehow costs them or maybe the Vikings to postpone or forfeit the next games I will hold back.

Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to COVID-19. CDC guidance recommends individuals who came in close contact to someone who tested positive for COVID-19 to “stay home until 14 days after last exposure and maintain social distance from others at all times.”

According to the ESPN report, “league contact tracers identified 48 close contacts with the eightmembers of the Titans who tested positive.”

"Players who test positive for COVID-19 and remain asymptomatic can return 10 days after the test or after five days with two consecutive negative tests within a five-day period. Those who show symptoms can return 10 days after the symptoms first appear and 72 hours have passed since any symptoms have ended.

All players who test positive must be cleared by the team’s physician and undergo cardiac testing."

The NFL owners don’t care as long as they get $$$$$$$$ but I’m sure the NFLPA will do whatever they can to protect the health and safety of their players.

So the Titans/Steelers game is officially moved to later in the season and between this and the Raiders video I can say at this point if this season doesn’t have another dozen of these issues I will be shock.

Seriously they should just give the Titans the fucking loss as this is unfair to the Steelers.

I actually agree, not just because I am a Titans hater, which I admit, but because to send a message I say costing a team a win/game would get every player/coach/staff on their heels to avoid fucking up and infecting others with their actions.

If you got double digits infections in your building that is an outbreak. Give that team and organization the L.

I like that idea of making the team causing the problem have to forfeit. It’s not fair to the other team at all and it is completely out of their control.

Not a Steelers fan but that is some bullshit. Steelers lose a great bye for no reason of their own doing.

I know I am bias but they should just make the Titans forfeit, I get it isn’t all the players and it is a pandemic but postponing games because of one team across multiple weeks effecting multiple teams that have they stuff together ain’t fair either.

The problem is if a outbreak would lead to a forfeit it could lead to tampering…

Seriously some crazy fan or even a desperate team could infect the opponent just to get the win…

The punishment to the Titans needs to be EXTREME if its found to be negligence of any kind to send a message to teams… Maybe a loss of a 2nd round pick?

More schedule reshuffling…

No bubble = higher chance of infection and clusters.

Also the NFL won’t make teams forfeit games because TV contracts, the NFLPA, and $$$$$$$$ is at stake.

We’re not going to make it through the entire season. Four weeks in and games are already getting reshuffled. And Covid is still spreading.

Idk why they thought restartimg the NFL was a good idea. They got way too much staff and players for this to ever work long term. Shut that shit down til a vaccine is ready

This is a league that makes billions in revenue a year. You really expect them to forego all that money to “keep the players safe?”

Nowhere in my post did I say that…

I misread your post. My bad.

But to answer your question they restarted it because they want to make their money at any cost even if they have to risk the health of their players more than they already do to get it.
