I don’t mind the Steelers. I find most teams have shitty fans. Niners have some bad ones. I’m a Niners fan because I discovered the sport with Joe Montana football as a kid and they were really strong in the late 80s and early 90s.
I also grew up halfway between cleveland and pittsburgh so the arrogance of the domination of that rivalry was fucking annoying.

That tweet alone can be more helpful and eye opening to NFL rookies than the shit Cris Carter said in his NFL symposium presentation. Some rookies think making it to the NFL is guaranteed success but it can end up being a nightmare for some.

Martin got waived after a game. Not sure I’d even count him as a 9er but yeah, I know what he’s saying and it’s pretty eye-opening. I’m not black so I never had issues with that and trying to fit in but I went through other shit like being into stuff the other kids were not and being too stubborn to just go with the flow and fit in. It’s one thing to have a chip on your shoulder if you honestly don’t care but it makes an issue when you want things both ways.

On linebackers we just got Wilhoite back on the field. Him and Bowman are going to the be starters with Nick Moody probably. The depth chart isn’t as deep as it was but Shane Skov has looked good in the pre-season games and Desmond Bishop is there.
Samurai Mike was a legend but he had a short spell as interim head coach and the record was horrible. Getting rid of him completely was probably a bad idea though.
