BETRAYAL!

Preseason is stupid. Too many players are getting injured. I might be starting at safety soon for the giants at this rate. Reduce it to 3 games. First 2 sort out the roster. 3rd one gets you prepped and finalizes the roster.

1 more playoff game? Meh, i don’t think we need it but it’s whatever. As long as losing record teams make it in as wild cards we’ll be okay

That doesn’t change anything from 4.

The only change that would matter is eradicating the Preseason entirely. Starters barely play Week 1 Preseason anyway and never play Week 4. So going to 2 would change little other than giving those fringe guys a lot less visibility and chances to make the roster. Some will say “Well the coaches should have more than enough practice time to decide who makes the cut” but some people perform better in game time than practice time.

Keep in mind, I should be more paranoid than anyone about the preseason considering past injuries and the fact that Suggs just tried to destroy Bradford’s ACL for absolutely no reason. But I believe preseason is a necessary evil. If you’re afraid of someone getting hurt, sit them out for the preseason, a bunch of people already do that. But without preseason, Week 1 will involve a lot more rust and you’ll see guys that could make the team miss the cut.

Hell, look at Barner from Philly. If not for Preaseason there’s no way we carry 4 RBs and either sending him to PS or cutting him is a foregone conclusion. But in preseason he houses a Punt Return in two consecutive games. Now short of disaster he’s almost guaranteed to make the squad as the starting Punt Returner over Sproles who can now simply focus of being part of the three headed monster.

See I 100% disagree with all this preseason is bad shit.

Teams will always have changes to both sides of the ball, no matter the position. Running a few snaps against someone who doesn’t care if you succeed is important. It helps your young players even more.

It sucks Jordy and Benji got injured but its part of the game, whether its practice, scrimmage, real game.

In a way if it was destiny Jordy gets hurt then wouldn’t it be better now than mid season and a guy like Adams has to learn on the fly. Now he and the 3rd WR can get more reps in with Rodgers.

My draft is tonight. My goal is to lock down a top 3 tight end with my first pick, leveon belle or Antonio brown with my second and then go from there. Any sleepers worth mentioning for down the board selections? Golden Tate did great for me last year and I had mike Evans in my draft last year but dropped him before he started coming up big

Yo don’t go in with the im gonna do this in this round. Let the draft come to you. Take value when its there. And Bell and Brown are top 7 picks and unless your in a 4 person league won’t be there tho Gronk might. So take the later in round 1 and then you can take gronk but again just wait and see whats there.

It’s not every day that a 300 pound nose tackle intercepts the ball for a touch down. Not on goal line either, he ran just over 30 yards and broke two tackles.

Drew the short straw in my draft and picked last. It’s good and bad since I got two picks in a row every round here’s the lineup

QB-Peyton manning
Rb1-Demarco Murray
Rb2- Alfred blue
Wr1-mike Evans
Wr2-golden Tate
Wr3-Doug Baldwin
TE-rob gronkowski
K- Justin tucker
D- stl Rams
Flex-Delaney walker TE

Bench

Wr-martavius Bryant
Wr-Torrey smith
Wr-mike Wallace
Rb- Arian foster
Rb-Chris Hyde
Rb-tre mason

Overall I’m pretty happy. I had much stronger receivers last year but I think I can get consistent production out of the guys I have.

Any lineup changes you guys would make?

As an Eagles fan, drafting Demarco was a mistake. You never want to draft someone who’s within a three headed monster.

foster or hyde in the flex spot

Foster is hurt for the first part of the season hence why I drafted blue to compensate until he gets better.

Hyde is gonna be interesting because he’s out from behind frank gore but the 9ers got Reggie bush who might eat up his time.

Demarco, was a pick I had to take based on his numbers alone, my league went rb heavy in the first round and I was the 12 th and final pick of the first round and 1st pick of the 2nd. Board was pretty eaten up by the time I got my first pick so I took gronk and Murray with my first two picks.

I wish there were settings for autodrafting

anywho

This was out but damn I can’t wait to see shit like this on the regular

Hyde will see more red zone plays and short yardage rushes than Bush. He’ll be the main man to get those first downs. Reggie Bush in the current 49ers offence is basically a slot receiver or a read option with Bush going one way, Kap going the other depending on where the defence moves.

Arian Foster should be good in week 10. The Texans have a bye week 9. I’m not sure how much value he has because of that but obviously if he’s 100% he’s a star player.

Le’Veon Bell and Jamaal Charles are two guys I’m watching. Bell has a two game suspension but is a top, flexible back and Jamaal carries the Chiefs offence. He’s going to post numbers just because you wont see them out of anyone else on that roster.

boom just like that. :’( http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000516152/article/orlando-scandrick-tears-acl-and-mcl-out-for-season

This year’s Super Bowl may just go to the team with the most intact ACLs.

The hilarity if it’s Bradford of all people.

Oh and Vick’s a Steeler.

Can’t wait for more of this hot Dee Ford action
