Up until this Training Camp Barkley had been ABSOLUTE shit which is why I was convinced Tebow would beat him out. If we have to have a bad third stringer I’d rather go with the one who’s won some games. However idk how it happened but he’s made solid strides this year. Let’s see if he can keep it up.
I believe in his potential as a QB and I believe in his accuracy. I have no belief in his health but as an Eagles fan that’s a train I’ve been riding for a decade anyway so it’s nothing new.
My issue is that unless we extend him now we’re in a no win scenario. If Bradford kills it we’re going to have to pay him a LOT of money for one year of work. If he fucks up then that trade was for absolutely nothing and there are no good prospects out there to shoot for after this year. It’s not a good situation.
