The Office (US)

no more karen </3 jim you’re an idiot. karen surpassed pam’s cuteness when she was being carried on jim’s back.

i doubt we’ll see her next season if what i read is true (new show on ABC).

edit: it’s actually a show on FOX and you know what that means. it’ll do well but not get renewed.

andy had the greatest line in the show:

I am a great interviewee. Why? Because I have something no one else has. My brain. Which I use to my advantage, when advantageous.

Was it just me, or were Michael’s answers for the interview taken from Dwight (or possibly Andy)? The whole, “My weaknesses are my strengths” sounded like something one of them said before, but his execution was embarrassing.

And no way Karen is cuter than Pam. Sorry. Pam’s character is way better, especially now with her self-esteem/courage. Karen being annoying (I’m gonna go eat with my friends and leave you during your interview) outweighs her piggyback riding.

That’s why her behind got left in New York.

Am I the only one who thinks Karen is kind of ugly?

she got a breast implant, so she’s no longer flat chested

pam was also in a movie called employee of the month (not the dane cook one) where she talks about sucking dick and getting fucked in the ass while wearing revealing clothing

so hot

Actually, she got two breast implants.

“Welcome to the Hotel Hell. Check in time is now. Check out time is NEVER!”
“And the sheets are made of FIRE!”
“I’m the owner…the co-owner…with Satan!”

Dwight letting power go to his head is like half of the show’s hilarity.

Ryan the temp ftw.

hahaha that was the best part of the episode…

Dwight: Jim, Jim, Jim. Jim, Jim, Jim, Jim, Jim, Jim, Jim.
Jim: Oh, hey, Dwight.
Dwight: I?m going to be your new boss. It?s my greatest dream come true. Welcome to the Hotel Hell. Check-in time is now. Check-out time is never.
Jim: Does my room have cable?
Dwight: No. And the sheets are made of fire!
Jim: Can I change rooms?
Dwight: Sorry, we?re all booked up. Hell convention in town.
Jim: Can I have a late check-out?
Dwight: I?ll have to talk to the manager.
Jim: You?re not the manager? Even in your own fantasy?
Dwight: I?m the owner. The co-owner. With Satan.
Jim: Okay, just so I understand it. In your wildest fantasy, you are in hell. And you are co-running a bed and breakfast with the devil.
Dwight: Yeah, but I haven?t told you my salary yet.
Jim: Go.
Dwight: $80,000 a year.

Poor, poor Pam Beasley. Get well soon, Jenna.

I was wondering why my DVR listed Tom Selleck and Jenna Fischer as guests on Conan O’Brien, and it was Tom Selleck and John Stamos instead. I thought my DVR lied to me >=|

Get better soon Pam.

Err…I mean Jenna. Geez.

This after such a good run as Secret Assistant to the Regional Manager…there is no justice.

Adios Karen, your hard to place at first mixed self will be missed.

Anyone else think Micheal was even more depressed at the end of this episode than any other time this season, including the attempted suicide episode?

And Ryan is indeed a god tier douche, been that way since season 1. But the bastard just looked EVIL in the camera angle they got him in and his immediate dismissal of Kelly. Little fool is the DEVIL!

Man I love this show.

I saw the first 2 episodes and coudlnt really get into it…

Did you guys enjoy it right from the start? Im just asking because i dont wanna continue watching it if its not my type of show. I alredy downloaded the first 2 seasons.

I think it started getting good during the second season.

  • I jumped in anytime and liked it from there. If you hate Steve Carell after The Office, slit your wrists. If you hate Steve Carell after The Office, slit your wrists. If you hate Steve Carell after The Office, and your girl doesn’t look like a buttface. If you hate Steve Carell after The Office, sliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit yoooooooooooooooooooooour wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwrists.
    [sing-a-long!].
    …that went well.

That’s what everyone says, but I don’t agree. It was always good. If anything, the first season was better because it was more believable. Now it’s still good, but it seems like there’s too much going on and it’s becoming more like a “regular” sitcom.

I agree. There’s too much going. I mean, I know it’s a TV show, but there was always a sense of “this could actually happen in real life”. Now, it’s so contrived and rediculous, none of this crap could happen in real life, leaving me less connected to the characters/show.

Don’t get me wrong, still hella funny and enjoyable, but less than it was season ONE.

An HR employee at my job gave me a Schrute buck that she made and printed herself. :looney:

Here is a pic from my phone camera pinned to my cube.

I think the first season was very slow, except for diversity day. I agree, the show just kept getting more and more ridiculous, especially the level of Michaels stupidity. The UK office had Gervais always stupid, but believable-stupid. But, I still love the show, it’s still got that drama/comedy mix that makes it so amazing.

^ was trying to erase that episode out of memory. Michael is childish at best. Stupid? well yeah, at a 3rd Grade level. I’m surprised that NBC and BBC didn’t do crossover eps. Or have they?

…that went well. Thank you, Kelly. Come again.
