If you can’t get past the fact its not Season 2 anymore and that Karen is gone, then you’ll never love this show ever again.
The only real gripes I had about this episode was that Dwight really didn’t do much when there was probably opportunities for comedy there and that Angela and Andy were pretty much just in the background and didn’t add much to it. Seeing very little of the supporting cast was also kind of a downer. I’m hoping the rest of the season isn’t centered around Jan/Michael as much as this episode was either.
While I’m not really big on the idea of a Jim/Pam breakup storyline, I do think their relationship does need some kind of challenge though. Otherwise, they are likely to just fade into the background. Just so long as it doesn’t turn into a “they break up, get back together, break up, get back together” sort of thing like Rachel/Ross on Friends.
Ugh…I made a reference to Friends. I feel so dirty.
There was definitely some funny moments in the show, the charades, oakey afterbirth, but overall I thought this was one of the weakest episodes. Maybe I’m just not used to watching brand new Office episodes anymore but I was just put off by this one. Also, was it just me, or did everyone seem a little fatter than when it went off the air?
i have to admit that during the strike break, i watched all three seasons like 5 times waiting for new stuff, so it’s really hard to seperate from the quality writing of seasons 2 and 3…especially three. c’mon, compare last nights ep to eps like benihana xmas or beach day…
There’s a couple outtakes in Walk Hard where she goes, “I had a dream, where you had your face down where my lady parts are, and you were going like this” imitates him going down on her, then “I had a dream, where my face was where your man parts are, and I was going like this” imitates going down on him
“Chair Model” - April 17, 2008
Michael?s fascination with a woman modeling a chair in an office supply catalog makes him feel things he hasn?t felt in a while. With Michael distracted, Kevin and Andy team up to win back Dunder Mifflin?s stolen parking spaces, forcing them into a showdown with the bosses of the five businesses of the office park.
“Night Out” - April 24, 2008
Michael and Dwight decide to surprise Ryan in New York for a night of clubbing and meet his friends. Meanwhile, the Scranton branch is upset when they find out they have to come in on a Saturday for Ryan’s website project. Jim’s plan to save them has unexpected results.
“Did I Stutter?” - May 1, 2008
When Stanley snaps at Michael during a meeting, Michael tries to give Stanley an attitude adjustment. Dwight decides to buy Andy?s car. Meanwhile, Pam deals with an unexpected inconvenience after spending the night at Jim?s.
I actually liked this ep. There were so many awkward funny moments…I love those about the show. The Jim trying to ditch Pam = top tier. Failing at doing so, not so much. I’m really just glad they’re back.

Whisper: [after Jack hires her to sleep with David, but David prefers to just talk with her] Do you want a blowjob or something?
David Walsh: No, I’m good. Thanks.
Whisper: Do you wanna fuck?
David Walsh: You know, that’s really sweet, but, uh… I don’t think it’s a good idea.
Whisper: You can jerk off on my tits if you want.
David Walsh: You know, as much as I’d love to, I think I’m gonna pass.

David Walsh: Whisper, do you have a boyfriend?
Whisper: Yeah.
David Walsh: What would you do if he was having sex with another girl?
Whisper: Play with her tits?
given the amount of jenna love here, i read a great little quote from her asking her fans to stop asking her out. i guess she gets like hundreds of date requests on myspace everyday…
