What’s the spinoff about? Same creative team?
There have been rumors of what it would be and who would be running it that go as far back as last summer. Here are two of the rumors. I don’t think anything is confirmed yet.

I just been watching episodes on Tuesday nights since January. This show is fucking hilarious. I assume new episodes are coming back on Thurs? I’ll be there.

I am out of the loop as far as TV goes these day. That strike screwed everything up.
go Google go!! Oh so all of the NBC Thursday night stuff is back. Tomorrow night should be good, new episodes of The Office, 30 Rock, and Scrubs. It’s about damn time.

oh yes, tonight kids, we finally get a new episode of the office!
Man, that was a strange episode. Not one of the strongest, but it was still good in its own right.

i agree…very strange episode…i don’t know what exactly they were shooting for. i’m kinda let down…after this much time off, i thought they would open with a stronger episode. the angela/dwight/andy thing is getting very annoying…
I thought it was funny, but agree. After such a long break, I was hoping they would make a better one. Still, this ep did have its moments of funniness. “E-mail?” Hahahaha.
How can people diss this episode at all? It was top tier for Hunter’s CD alone. So raw, so right, all night, alright, oh yeaaaaaaaaah!
Jim and Pam’s facial expressions were just so good this whole episode.

This episode was so sad. Kind of lacked that the light hearted silliness that the office usually has.
Maybe Micheal and Jan were just to real. I don’t know. Great that its back though.
Dammit, I had such a long day that I decided to nap and sleep right though it.
Is it ultimately worth watching? (Even though I’ll eventually get to it)
I didn’t think of it like that, but I could kind of feel that it was a little too serious well as far as The Office goes.
However, I really like the episode and laughed a lot of the time. I also am a huge fan of Hunter’s stylings.
Yeah IMO definitely worth, at least, checking it out.
