Tourney play seems to be the ideal spot for this to happen considering the number of set ups and the amount of time.
I don’t know about “people” being salty, I really don’t qualify for old school, nor would I care to play for the new school (I don’t put in even a fraction of the time that people on the new school team put in). I’m out after TW anyways (20% chance I’ll be at TP).

I’m coming to the realization that no one here respects each other’s game. Just period. No one to gun for, no one to aim for. We’re all relatively peers within each other, and because of that, think that we should all relatively beat each other. For lack of better terms, no more Row/Jmar/Kuan…no more Lifetimeboy…no more ScrubbyDan.
I think I’ll start participating in tournaments when you all can stop squabbling amongst each other and find respect for someone actually WORTHY of challenging. Realize this isn’t a HIT on anyone, just saying that you all fight for peanuts…a pissing contest if you will. Inflated ego’s that never shut up. There’s no enforcer, no one respected.

Yeah I played 3s but that wasn’t my main, only did it at GW cause I needed a side game for DDR. I’d consider myself more new school cause I didn’t know two shits about 3s! Real talk.
Maybe we have different definitions of “combo” up here, but last time I checked, Conscription wasn’t unplayable. Not to mention summons, sneaky, etc. Most of the combo decks were slower and less powerful, but they still exist. Hell, Pyromancer has been getting top 8s again.
By the way, are you gonna be at the big tourney next weekend? Might be a good time to get cards back to each other.

In other news, I’ll accept any grudge match if someone wants to fight for PRIDE. I don’t gamble and to me a money match is even closer to gambling than entering a tournament is, so I don’t really money match. If I had a job I would perhaps lightly consider it.
