Reading that article, I think it’s BS. I don’t ever remember Reinsdorf throwing Pax under the bus. If anything, it was Vinny Del Negro that he highly criticized.
Whether Paxson steps down or not, I don’t think Stoudemire is coming to Chicago. It’d be great scenario (since the Bulls have been needing a big man that consistently impact games for a very long time now), but somehow I seriously doubt it.
The sad thing right now is that Tyrus Thomas and Joakim Noah are “finally” playing semi-okay, which will cloud judgment about trading them. Them playing okay will probably make Pax keep them. I seriously think they are a bunch of bums. Luol Deng is also starting to piss me off lately. I think Ben Gordon is the only Bull that should stay, and maaaaaaaybe Kirk Hinrich (if he’s okay with a 6th man role). The rest should go.
My dream scenario is still Dwyane Wade coming to Chicago during the 2010 free agency (lots of really GOOD FA for this year, it’s ridiculous, I’ve never seen anything like it!) Wade at SG and Rose at PG = UNSTOPPABLE, Chicago connection!

Gordon just dropped 34 points on the Heat last night (but we still lost by 2 ).
His 3-point shot % is improving dramatically. Gordon wants to leave though, so we probably don’t get to keep him anyways.

Haven’t been keeping up w/ the Bulls much lately, so I’m kinda jus’ talkin’ outta my ass here…however:
1.) He dropped 34 last night…didn’t know, so ok I’ll give you that. That still doesn’t make up for that fact that he’s got (or is at least close to) Geronimo-level inconsistency. That should tell you something right there…
2.) I’ve always like Hinrich since he started on the Bulls shrugs…so I’m probably jus’ being a little biased.
